Lucky you vivek.

We are discussing about super bricks where a full wipe in lpx kernel is causing havoc or something is getting corrupted damaging the entire fs.

thanks a ton! this solved the issue :))) thanks again
Hello

Could u pls give us a link of the files you used for flashing. I tried the same with a LPF rom i downloaded but the result was not that good. Factoryfs was ok but it stacked at datafs.

I've been trying to revive my galaxy since Sunday after i stupidly wipe/factory reset within CWM on midTeam ICS rom. Yesterday, finally i was able to flash darky's rom (none of the stock roms are working but hopefully darky's is doing well on abbys kernel) after flashing abbys kernel through heimdall. But the system is not stable, many force closes are there and any restart destroys everything. But i feel lucky, at least my note is running again.

I did exactly what u did. That is wiping in CWM to install a fresh midteam 1.3.. I got stuck on bootscreen but i was able to enter download n recovery mode.
So after trying to install abyss kernel with no success, i downloaded the stock LPF from dr ketan's thread..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1659308
I flashed it using pc odin including pit file and bootloader.. Its up and running again with everything working great. And after the shock of yesterday i didnt root my phone and dont plan to unless something safe comes out.
I just hope this method works for you mate.

I have a feeling that you weren't on superbrick, probably only softbrick

Yes its a softbrick
But useful post as it could solve similar issues.

What I want to know is whether there are any developers who willing to find the solution? last time I got this issue, I read that the senior XDA went to SSC.. which pretty much solve the issue,,

Ya maybe it was a softbrick.... But i wonder if this bricking issue is related to the data size to be wiped.. Because all these bricks are caused by wipes and also there are these error while moving large files..
Maybe users who have less data to be wiped are less vulnerable to bricks?
Just a thought., no valids proofs to back it up.

Those that can't fix their S brick may want to form a galaxy note charity and use the bricks to build homes for the homeless lol.

i solved my soft brick with your method :)
i used pit file from this post as you said: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26162413&postcount=6

Writing a new guide! Got really upset seeing people getting bricked even after so many posts and warnings !

a) Devs : Pls support by reading it .....
b) Mods : Please read and let me know if it can be moved to [DEV] section.
c) Bricked Users : Oh I know how frustrating it is !! Lets pray for you ....

I Superbricked my GNote (GT - N7000) HELP !!!

Dear all,

Yesterday i was trying to flash a PIT file through PC odin. But it got stuck between the flash process. I removed the battery and tried to re-start the process with another PIT file (I have downloaded this PIT files browsing XDA from them i chose 1) My GT N7000 is 16GB one and i used the suitable 16GB pit file (I have done this many times on my S2 and GT N7000) :( .

After this my phone is stuck (Dead) and i am unable to start it (or) charge it (while charging it gets warm near the camera region i assume the USB is still working) (or) go into download mode (Arrow Down + Menu + Power), My device is not been detected in ODIN as well as through ADB (As i am not able to turn it on).

I have tried using JIG (i baught it for my Samsung Galaxy S2) but no use unable to get in FACTORY/ODIN mode.

My question is does GT N7000 have a diffrent JIG.

or as there any other way to boot my phone in to download mode.

All i need is to enter download mode or just need a start to push the bootloader, PIT everything.

Please Help..... Thanx in advance.:cyclops:

Arunm Try these steps instead.

a) Make sure you charge your dead phone (It may get charged even when it's dead, else manage one from your friend.)
b) Long press power button (15-20 seconds).
c) Remove battery for 5 seconds,
d) Plug in JIG,
e) Put battery back.
f) Wait for 40 seconds .................................................. ....... (Be Patient)
g) press power button for 5 seconds
h) Remove JIG,
i) Long press power button (15-20 seconds),
j) Remove battery for 5 seconds
k) Put battery back,
l) Hold volume down + center button + power button for 10-15 seconds, press volume up
m) You should have connection to PC Odin ....... If it fails please repeat after restarting your windows (Make sure you have all your ADB drivers installed)

This is how you have to force to download mode.
Post details ....
