This guide is for Gnote N7000, so it probably will not be useful for an HTC device. I guess you certainly have to download a ruu rom for htc and flash it using a PC. If you read in your respective forum should be able to find the answer.

Stuck at flashing No Charching Battery

Hi I really need your help/advice.

I understand from the Bricked User Guide I may have dead bricked my Note.

I have a disability which means cant use hands well enough to solder RIFF JTAG.....Do any of you know any other solutions.

I haven't flashed the pit file altogether with the room, in odin. I wonder if that would make any difference than flashing from recovery.

I have soft brick. Need help

How it happens? I got and update stock JB (4.1.2) by OTA one month ago. But it was laggy and drains battery fast, so I wanted to try new JB kernel (Speedmod K5-3). I root my phone (in recovery launched temporary CWM and launched Root_SuperSU 0.96 from external SD. After I've installed mobile ODIN Pro, selected Speedmod kernel (k5-3) .tar file from extSD and launched. Phone restarted and stuks on the Gnote screen. I can enter only download mode. On charger screen show battery without charging level, so I'm not sure if battery charging

The first option I think to try are:
1) flash new safe kernel for JB with ODIN (PC). Not sure if first step after flash should be system restart or I need to go into CWM and wipe cache, dalvik or smth else?
2) flash new stock JB rom (ref. to dr.Ketan). Not sure if I will lose all my data after the flashing? Should I wipe smth before first start?.

Please help me (step by step) to unbrick phone and recover all my personal data on phone (if possible). Thank you in advance

There is a way to fix this issue we all know? I'd like to move the entire OS to a clean micro SD card, and that would fix most of the memory corruptions. Any idea how to do this?

While it was installing the phone reppently turn off and I cannot access recovery mode, download mode and I have not charginng screen when my phone is connected to charge. Can somebody give a little tutorial with steps for try to fix it, if I can fix it is better than have to wait until service centre give me new one

Gnote looking unrecoverable?

My Galaxy Note died on me a few days ago, and Samsung have refused a warranty repair as at one point I had a pre-release JB kernel on it. No yellow triangle but the custom count was 1

Anyway.

Phone will not get past the Samsung GT-N7000 splash screen. I can not get it into recovery mode, just download mode (Vol-,home, power)

I have fully recharged the battery in another Gnote.

Odin picks up the phone and starts but always fails at the same point, as below.

Just tried using the Philz recovery kernel. Downloaded the one which matched the latest version on my phone before the trash, and it doesn't get any further. Will not boot into recovery still. Not sure what else I can try.

Yup, same result.

Also downloaded original GB rom with separate PDA, modem, and phone modules, and that fails as well.

Seriously thinking this phone is fubar now.

can someone guide me on how to restore my note? i can only flash to GB because i got bootloops if i tried to flash JB. however, the problem is i can not get a network apparently because the efs folder in system is empty. i tire fx explorer to copy all files in my backup efs (including hidden files) but every time irestart, the files are gone. i made sure to tick read only after successfully copied all the files to the system/efs folder. i have tried other methods but i don't have an image file nor tar file of my efs, only plain folder. i tried to make a zip file of it and flshed it via recovery mode but still the same. thanks

Download 4 zip file, use the file joiner from the 5th link to join file. You will have a rom with multi-parts including the EFS image. Flash this rom should give you a generic emei and a working phone. I cannot give you more details how to flash, though. Goodluck!
