OK so managed to get Nexus ROM with telephony onto the Letv x800. Working hard on porting the 2-SIM functionality.
Most things work, but some things dont. Expect an beta version soon

I'm curious, very happy to hear that you work on things like this! Keep up the good work. Which phone do you base the ROM on ? Or is it the nexus tablet?

Anyone found a way to fix the sim card error? I have trying to fix it all day. My sim worked previously on cuoco92's rom but after re-flashing it cause I messed up something, it doesnt even recognize it has a sim card in it.

My phone just advised me that the 8S is available.
So am keenly awaiting Mr Rusch to do his job on that and release it for all us fans

Hi Lannibal...what sort of SIM are you using - Micro or Nano?
When I flashed RuschRom I found the phone would not detect my Micro-SIM so I xferred my # to a Nano-SIM and that works fine.

Ι was on cuoco92's rom, accidentally uninstalled the dialer app. My phone was still working it was just not showing anything while in call. I flashed the rom again, and then the famous no read sim problem appeared. I flashed 7s/6s multiple times, I even did a troubleshot processs i found on the cuoco's forum, my phone still does not recognize the sim. The nano sim is my last resort, I was using a micro sim and now I m gonna pick up a nano and try that. If nothing works, I dont know what else to do.

OK, don't panic as I feel a Nano-SIM will work.
I am guessing that there is some issue with these ROMs and the Micro-SIM slot.
Any phone store should be able to port your number over in an instant and you will know then but I would be confident it will be resolved.

Someone posted this on another thread to my problem : Always before flashing you must backup efi partition. then you can restore it. If it gets messed up, then nothing will help... Sorry.

Could i have ****ed up hard and destroyed my device?

I read that post earlier alright and it's the first mention I've seen of backing up the EFI. These forums can be overloaded with info so you just gotta focus on what you can do and take it one step at a time.

I do not think you have messed up the phone. This SIM issue has been reported several times.
Just get a Nano-SIM in there ASAP and lets see what happens :good:

Thanks a lot for your help man, I will go get one in a bit. My phone now sits on 002s stock rom after following the solution from the italian forum, I will update if the nano helped or not.
I am honestly terrified to go get the nano because if it doesnt solve it too , I am out of ideas..god

Bear in mind...if you pop a Nano-SIM in and it isn't detected then don't immediately panic.
Just do a Full Wipe (in TWRP, format system, Dalvik and cache) and stick on Rusch7S ROM and see how it works. (I am on Rusch7S and had no SIM detected with it or with Cuoco when I had a Micro-SIM).

Just do a Full Wipe (in TWRP, format system, Dalvik and cache) and stick on Rusch7S ROM and see how it works. (I am on Rusch7S and had no SIM detected with it or with Cuoco when I had a Micro-SIM).

Still No Sim Card, after I put the nano. I am about to install TWRP and put cuoco's 6s rom.

WHat do you mean full wipe? What should I tick in the advanced wipe of TWRP? Dalvik,cache,data and system? Or tap on the other choice and not advanced wipe?

Yep, a Full wipe is the Cache, Dalvik Cache and System.
So select those three and then install the latest ROM. I prefer Rusch to Cuoco as there's less bloatware in it but pick whichever you prefer.

No need to format Data I don't think. That's only your photos and music and all that non OS related stuff if I am correct.

Yeah, see that...I assume I can't simply let the phone update OTA from RuschRom as then I will revert to a Chinese ROM, right?
We have to wait for Rusch to get 8S and make his changes to it and then we flash with TWRP....is that correct?
