I've literally been through every thing on xda but I cannot root my LG ARISTO X210MA20h I've unlocked the bootloader but I can't flash anything in fastboot mode or send any commands once I enter fastboot I'm stuck and it doesn't recognize my device I've followed everyons instructions but it still doesn't work if yall could help me it would be amazing sorry if I'm stuck on an old device I just want root

hi guys

i have an lmx210ulma K8+ that i was able to give a temp root to by using the mtk-su exploit on and i reeally want to give it a recovery so i can permanently root it.

The problem is that i cant unlock the bootloader due to the fastboot mode being hidden. I have tried every concievable way that i know of to boot into fastboot with no luck.

i was wondering if i could dd a recovery or boot image image into the phone or even temorarily remove the laf.img partition then unlock the boot loader and replace it

To my knowledge it's not possible. I've been thinking that you would need you carrier to do it for you. I have no idea if they will though. They are the only ones who have access to the bootloader.

I bought the phone completely carrier unlocked. I had it for week playing with my friends sim cards and apn settings. I think i need an lk.bn file or to maybe compile my own fastboot mode. I hace the souce code and termux set up to build but i cant find info on compiling the righr pieces. Like fastboot, download, and so on.

last year i rooted fortune-2-cricket-nougaut-lm-x210cm. and the att variant also. but i cant reset these devices cause i removed too much stuff. so i got another cricket-lm-x210cm, but this one have OREO. does anybody have a theory that i might try. im thinking i need a different boot image than the one that is posted here.

What do you mean by "You can't reset these device..."? Can you specify more please? Also if you can get the the entire boot image from your other phone(s) using LG UP you could probably put them on the new phone with LG UP as well.

Also do you have TWRP or PBRP on either of your devices?

i don't use apps that come with the rom, i use a different phone, contacts file manager, apps, etc., and so i deleted the comparable apps that came with the phone, so resetting the device will brick it, because it probably won't completely boot, missing the many apps i deleted.

Okay. Now that I know you have TWRP on your older devices... What is the reset for? Are you trying to go back to the original stock to start over? Also can you send me the ROM that your on? Just do a ROM dump. There are plenty of tutorials out there.

As for your question on the error on LG UP you should get the "hacked" version of LG UP to do the downgrade. I think this should be of some assistance. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tecknights-aristo-2-tutorials.3805141/#post-76950229
