Yes u can root your mobile using kingsroot. And install recovery using flashify after that. But remember to have backup before doing all that.

Try searching for One-Click Root. I don't have the link right now but it worked for me. You have to flash back to stock Lollipop first I think.
The one-click root is only works for lollipop.
If I want to flash back to lollipop, I won't ask how to root android 6.0.
That means u flashed a rooted 6.0 rom?Ah well then Google will be your friend. I flashed through Lollipop and then just flashed a 6.0 rom, it was pretty quick and easy. But good luck!
That means u flashed a rooted 6.0 rom?

This is the one I use. It's not as nice as TWRP but fully functional.

I will tell you step by step how I doing on my f460l.
1. Downgrade to kitkat with LGUP via TOT file
2. On unrooted kitkat I instal kingroot
3. On rooted phone now install flashify.
4. Download JZShminer TWRP 3.0 IMG file and put on phone storage.
5. Open flashify, choose recovery image then choose a file. Select TWRP_Recovery_3.0.0-0_LG-F460_By_JZ-160308-EN-fix-wipe.img from phone storage.
6. That's it the phone have TWRP and can install custom roms.
