Bro, I am in Pakistan and electricity over here is very unstable so I had the same issue once
my phone stopped charging!! I would leave it on charge for hours but it would stay at 60% charge.
After a lot of troubleshooting I found out my charging cable was bad. I hope same is not the case
with you.
You had the same issue in Lollipop and now MM right? Plus same happens when you are in safe mode
maybe some firmware issue. well this plan looks good. Please try V30B and then KK.
All the best!!

Yeah but I'm thinking how do I do to get the 30th prerooted??? I mean the v30b is on .kdz and Don't know how to do it prerooted or converted to .zip to flash it.
Do you know how to do it?

I'm newbie so I can't not afford any boot loop.
I?think I need to read more about how to root a kdz file but now it's 2:00 a.m. here I think that nothing I do now could be good.

Bro it is ported but from another variant/region not completely a different phone so there won't
be a world of difference. You are new thus you will learn a lot, don't let that stop you from trying.
Best thing is you know how to install OS from the LG Flash tool and you have original images
to factory restore!! So if all fails you can always factory restore it to the original!!
I also had the same issue once I installed some tweaks, my phone simply got black
screen, I connected it to PC and fortunately it was recognized!! I used the LG Flash tool
to factory restore my phone!!

Before you proceed please do a full TWRP backup, I am assuming you have TWRP installed!!
God forbids if you do experience boot loops all you got to do is:

1. Take out the battery

2. Press and hold the power button and volume down button at the same time.

3. Keeping holding, when you see the LG boot up screen let go of the power button
and volume down button for 1 second and then press and hold the power button and
volume button at the same time again.

4. Hopefully you will enter the custom recovery, just restore from your backup!!

In case if you are not comfortable with the above then simply use the LG flash tool and
clean install V10F!!

Taken from the following link!!

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64624353&postcount=3

Download LGUP from here: http://oceanhost.eu/545euinlq0hw/LGUP_LG_G3.zip.htm
Install LGUP_8994_DLL first and then LGUP
Make sure you have downloaded the required KDZ file MM or LP
Start LGUP prog on your computer "make sure your phone is plugged in"
If you have a problem that LGUP does not see your LG G3, leave your mobile connected via USB
and leave LGUP running, restart your mobile, hopefully this will solve the problem.

TO UPGRADE TO MM from LP - make sure BIN file is ticked and in the File Path point it towards
the MM KDZ you have downloaded. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CLICKED UPGRADE! This will update you
from LP to MM with out wiping any of your info. Press Start. Make cup of tea and be patient

TO DO A FULL WIPE AND INSTALL MM - Open the LGUP on your computer. FILE PATH point it towards the MM KDZ.
IMPORTANT!!!!!!! shut down LGUP!
Now open LGUP again - you will notice that the MM KDZ will still be showing in the FILE PATH section.
Select REFURBISH and make sure BIN file is ticked. Press Start. Make cup of tea and be patient

TO GO BACK TO LP FROM MM - Open LGUP on your computer, click on FILE PATH and point it towards your LP KDZ.
Close LGUP and re-open LGUP. Make sure you select REFURBISH this will do a full wipe, tick BIN file.
Press Start. Make cup of tea and be patient

If you are worried about losing your data after a full wipe,
why not use the LG Bridge software to backup and restore.... it works fine!
YOU WILL LOSE ROOT!
There is no need to enter download mode! LGUP will do it for you.

** Hit the Thanks button if I have helped you and while you are at it please also go to
the link I pasted above and hit thanks for the guy who wrote that guide as well **

Yes if you install KDZ from LG Flash tool you will lose TWRP and Root but it's very easy/simple
to install TWRP (via Flashify) and Root via following link!!

1. Go to the following website and find out your region/firmware by plugging in your IMEI
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?firmware=1

If it fails to give you your region or correct firmware then go to step 2

2. Follow the following link and download KDZ for Hong Kong which would probably work 4 u
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=41

** Important Notations **
– HKG is for LG Dual SIM 32 GB.
– 6KB is for LG Dual SIM 16 GB.

2. It is always a risk to install new Rom, root your phone and upgrade your phone so Sorry to let you
know that there is absolutely no way any one can guarantee you a safe method where there are 100%
chances of not bricking your device but it is unlikely and majority of people don't brick their devices!!

3. According to the guide the upgrade is possible from KK to Lollipop but I have always clean
installed a Rom using the below method so I can not guarantee nor assure you its possible since
I have no experience of upgrade! I have always used LG Flash Tool going from KK to L and L back
to KK. The other method(LGUP) link I gave you before I have never used since I havent installed or upgraded to MM yet but its what people are using to go from L to MM!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190

4. I have used the LG BackUp service/tool which is included in the phone to back up the apps and
settings but not the OS and I can confirm that it works but I have never used the LG Bridge tool so
I can not comment on that.

5. I don't understand your last question, can you please re-phrase or explain your question again?

Hey bro. I comumicate with the company that sold me the battery. And they asked me?for my data and send me an email with the number of?guide of?one new package. I don't know what the package will bring. Its strange that only I told them that my battery was bad and immediately send me a new one ?????? Well I will wait to see if they will send me a new one. So I will wait for it to see if?the problem was the battery.

Brother Okay! I got you, please suggest me that “Shall I use the same LGUP method to upgrade from Kitkat to Lollipop by finding the approriate kdz file.

Bro I will only suggest what I have tried my self, I would recommend you go from KK to L
via LG Flash tool Method which has been tried and tested by many people here.
I have not upgraded to MM yet but I have read here in forums that many people had issues
upgrading L to MM via LG Flash Tool so that is why I suggested LGUP Tool for L to MM!!

Hey bro. I comumicate with the company that sold me the battery. And they asked me?for my data and send me an email with the number of?guide of?one new package. That is great bro, If you get a new battery then you can test it out and rule out if the battery
was bad or not which is also a possibility!! Do let us know what happens when you try the new
battery, All the best!!

Actually I was telling him to flash KDZ for KK (V10F) thats why I gave him
the links for Root and TWRP recovery not MM.
He is having a battery and over heating problem on Lollipop and MM.

If course there is. After flashing KDZ, just run Kingroot 4.6.5 which art final step says that did not succeed in root. Then, without restart just install autorec to install twrp and then through TWRP install superSU 2.46. Everything is ok then. Tried on anothet phone, too

    Marshmallow v6.0 for LG-D856/857/858/858HK

Decided make new post because need make so much changes!

    Known bugs:
    1. Not working 64GB SD cards, smaller cards work perfect
    2. Some users report that Bluetooth not Switch ON over Quick Menu. OFF works. Ovr Sytem menu Bluetooth works (I dont had on my D858HK)
    3. Some users report that camera have so much noise and not all menu options not show up (I dont had on my D858HK)
    4. No connection with android wear clocks (different models reported)

    5. USB OTG works, but you cant install at connected device programs, you must copy these to internal disk or sd.

    First for all!

    1. Make nandroid backup over TWRP
    2. Make backup of any personal information (conact list, SMS, Photos, Music and etc)

If you kill your phone when you make bottom steps then all responsibility goes only for you! My guide is only for knowledge base.

    Version: v.6.0
    For models:LG-D856/857/858/858HK

    Link to original forum thread

    You must have:
    1. Lollipop 5.0.1 installed
    2. Root
    3. TWRP recovery v2.8.5.1

Installation over recovery by zip file
Wipe data, cache and dalvik!!! Then start install!

    1. Install M-856-8.zip on recovery (dont reboot yet!!!)
    2. Install Patch-6.0Mm.zip over recovery <- IT NEEDED FOR WORK WIT DUAL SIM!!!
    3. After install over recovery both zip files make reboot
    4. Before reboot TWRP asks about installation SuperSU, install it with swipe!
    5. After you get working phone on left top corner you see icon that SuperSU need to be updated. Accept it and make choice over PlayStore (Not over recovery!). PlayStore opens and make update
    6. After update SuperSU over PlayStore again SuperSu icon show that it need to be updated over normal or recovery method. This time make choice to recovery and phone itself goes to recovery and make update
    7. If phone going to TWRP and it get start loop, then just pull out battery and start normally phone again. And make previous step (6.) again. With same problem second time just pull out battery, start phone to recovery and install SuperSU v2.46 zip

In this ROM dpi changed (not by me) to 560. Normal is 640. You can change it inside build.prop at 530 to 640, depends at your needs.

All this take about 10 min.

    Download
    Download ROM M-856-8.zip
    Download Patch Patch-6.0Mm.zip

    Additional stuff
If you dont have TWRP v2.8.5.1 installed then you can do next:
    1. Download D858_TWRP_2.8.1.0.apk and install it normally
    2. Go to recovery and install update twrp-2.8.5.1_d858-bumped.zip

For unknow reason I uploaded SuperSU v2.46 zip (for insallation over recovery) here too

Service menu can be opened with *#546368#*XXX# (replace XXX with your phone model number)

    Please dont make mirrors!

Ask persmission over PM to copy this information! If you like then dont forget :good: Thanks button

    "Bumped" TWRP 2.8.4.0 for D858 (and D858HK)

    Hi Friends,

I found a newer version of TWRP (custom recovery) from the Chinese forum again, from here (click me!). It's version 2.8.4.0. I tried "bumping" it using the instructions from this thread: click me!

Here is the file, already "bumped": click me!

Based on the Chinese thread, it was designed for the D857 and D858. I tried it on the D858HK (since I assume that the only difference between D858 and D858HK is the Google Apps already built-in) and it worked!

P.S.: I shared my findings to the appropriate "bump" threads: click me! and me too! to give due credit to its creators.
    5
    My feedback:

Worked fine so far (tried for a week). I personally feel it's better than the stock firmware (Marshmallow) as the Phone and Messaging apps retained the "dual" buttons when making a call or sending SMS. The stock/official Marshmallow firmware no longer retained this feature (that was already there during Lollipop/Kitkat). You will have to "switch SIM" whenever you want to change the SIM card to use for calling/texting.

Plus: if you are coming from Lollipop which you already have (presumably) rooted, with Busybox, and TWRP-installed, you get to retain them. :)

    D858HK Rooting Guide Android Lollipop

    HI Friends,

Here's the rooting guide (Android Lollipop) for the D858HK.

    http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-update-to-lollipop-root-bumpd-twrp-t3048845

This is based from the procedure in @autoprime's thread of manually flashing the firmware. I just added an extra step from his tutorial to "bump" the boot.img and therefore, keep custom recovery (TWRP) as well.

For those with other LG G3 variants who want to try this, please do share your results, LG G3 variant, and Android version (5.0.1 or 5.0.2).
