Lg G4 rom for Lg G pro 2!!!

!!!!!!!Guys this is my first post on xda so forgive me if i did mistakes in posting.!!!:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
I have not created this rom just got from this site->http://lgviet.com/forum/threads/tong-hop-tizen-rom-cook-ll-5-0-1-cho-lg-g-pro-2-f350-s-k-l-d838-updated-to-v7-1.40507/and tried to simplify....:cowboy:



1.First make sure that your device is rooted ....follow->(https://towelroot.com/).Click on the make it ra1n icon. Make sure that you are using android version 4.4.2.
2. Now install the recovery ...follow link->(https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001610872).
3. Now download the g4 rom ..follow link->(https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-OK6d3iTMmlMjN2a2pPUDAxLXM).
4. After downloading the rom open the lg g pro 2 recovery apk and click on the install recovery and then click on the reboot recovery.
5.Now click on wipe data/wipe cache and then click on the .zip file of rom (make sure the rom is in internal memory) and then select the model of the phone >click continue installation and then click next.
6. Wait for 5 minutes.When the phone starts it will take sometime to load apps. After starting it will show korean language but do not worry, after loading select English(united states):fingers-crossed:
7. Enjoy:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh

1. Stable:eek:
2. Bugs and lag free:D
3. Only weather animation on lockscreen missing which is same bug in official lollipop:laugh:

It s the best rom for lg g pro 2
Thank you for share.This is a rom tyzen v7.1 to lg g pro 2. To have theme lg g 4 you must flash after the zip g4apps y and the settings and iconbar change at lg g 4

hi there..
did anyone try this?

one important question.. can we roll back to stock recovery with flashing the KDZ ?
i flashed the miui months ago so had to flash custom recovery and my problem began.. and with too much trouble finally with flashing TOT i could bring back my Phone to live..

Hi,
After factory reset my lg g pro 2 mobile, "about phone" option is not working. Its shows an error " unfortunately settings has stopped". Please help to fix this.

    Pls hit tnx you guys like it...quick remote is working well with this set up..no weather only calendar...you can still activate or defroze weather to make it work. Defroze Lte to make 4g work since im just using 2g gsm..wifi always on.

    Battery life is under test

    Its just almost 24 Hrs after installing this ROM. Till this time , it seems that battery life is way better in kitkat whether stock or rooted. Along with this , weather animation on lock screen doesn't work. Seems to be an issue , coz it always ask you to set primary location in weather app even the location ia already set up.
    Also 3MinitBattery icons doesnt work.

    And still trying to debug these issues and find a solution..but no success.

    Note- This ROM is pre rooted along with Recovery installed.

    Anyone knows about these issues and knows how to fix them..well your help is really appreciated.

    Update 12/08-
    Data Connection problem seems to be resolved. 3G is working fine.
    Battery can stay up for 24 Hours easily. If your use keeps the phone mostly idle , then expect a great battery backup. Just to be on safe side , use Greenify .. it helps a lot.

    Just delete some files from system as describe below it will be work like charm

    In system / priv-app: delete folder LGCover*- On system /framework/com.lge.sui.widget/arm file deletion .odex (not delete folder arm)*- reboot into recovery, flash Xposed , reboot*- Install Xposed installer*- reboot and enjoye

    You can delete files even you already installed xposed. :)

    Yes you can but keep backup in case of any thing goes wrong just sake of safety. Good luck

    OK, just to shared to all of you having G PRO 2 using Tizen 7.1. When you installed Xposed, the 3G will become inconsistent. You can see the 3G signal, but we will not download data consistently. I encountered this and end up I have to sacrifce the xposed.

    I installed with latest Xposed version, it works. But 3g will never get consistent. Maybe there is a solution out there and please share if you know.

    I think their is some problem with connection not in rom as i use it from last 6 months + approx woth xposed and etc etc. The 3g running very well and stable. So its recommended for clean install and it will be. Cheers

    3mintbattery did not work unless you flash system ui pre loaded with it. So visit the main thread translate and grab your choice as there are 4 types of ui available for this rom. Good luck

    This problem not exist cause of this rom. Feel free , flash and enjoye. Because i also do this many times due to some testing damages :D
