LG G4 Root for Marshmallow on V20G. How to do it?

Do you have an unlocked bootloader?

When you reboot do you see any white writing on the top left hand corner of the screen?

No I don't see and I never did anything to unlock it. Is it normal to sell this phone with bootloader unlocked? How can I check it for sure?

Honestly it's normal if you can't unlock your bootloader with this phone as only few phones are unlockable. Count in H815 EUR

PS. Just reboot phone. In top left corner it should say bootloader status bootloader unlocked, if not it means ur stock

I just made a reboot and I dont see nothing more than a black screen with a purple animated LG logo with white letters. Then the green/blue screen appears asking for pin. In my family we have 2 LG G4 plus 3 of my friends have LG G4. I never seen any white text BOOTLOCKED UNLOCKED on any of these phones. I have only see similar labels only on rooted phones but not on phones you buy from store. Any other way to check if my bootloader is locked or unlocked?

That is the way,if you don't see that txt it means your bootloader is locked.

You can unlock your bootloader on LG site if you have H815 EU version...

That's good but I didn't realized I am losing the warranty for unlocking boot loader. I hope there was a way to root without losing the warranty

Yes there is. Buy a nexus/pixel... I don't know which phone you had in the past, but when unlocking HTC you were losing warranty permanently(some models had methods to restore to full stock) and Samsung has its own ****ty Knox(which you can't reset at all) and LG isn't anything different. You can unlock bootloader(if you can, not everyone can) and you lose warranty... I don't see anything odd here. It's normal. Only phones you can unlock without losing warranty are 1+(not sure) and phones by Google
