LG G5 AOSP Development GoFundMe

Hi all. For those that's don't know me, my name is Rashed and I'm the current CM LG G2, HTC One M9, Oppo R7+, and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) LTE maintainer. I would like to be able to develop for the G5 as well and bring CM to this wonderful device, however, being a student, I am limited on cash right now, so I am reaching out to the community to ask for help in acquiring a G5. I have started a GoFundMe (link below) that will go solely to the purchase of a bootloader unlocked G5 that I can bring CM up on. To anyone who does donate, I thank you for your generosity and confidence in my ability to deliver.

What up man! I've been all over lol. Went from HTC (still my fav) to Nexus 5 & 6. Then G4, now G5. Wife wants one and they offering buy one get one free. So why not ya know ?

I'd buy either the T-Mobile variant since it will most likely be unlocked like the G3 and G4 or the EU unloackable version, depending on availability.

After only having root for G4 for so long.. I'd stuff money down your pants too if there's a multi variant boot unlock or even bump for that matter.

The main goal is to have some sort of way around it as you can only root marshmallow with a modified kernel. The road looks tough but I'm thinking this device will be more popular than the G4 was...

I'm 99% sure the T-Mobile variant will be unlockable and so will the EU non-carrier variant as well.

Rooting on 6.0 is pretty difficult due to the dm-verity Google added. But I'm confidant there will be an exploit.
