I do wish it has higher refresh rate display, but unfortunately, upon the longer the system standby timer, the the less UI smoothness it will be. Despite having a 60Hz display, there are some hiccups, dropping out frame rates. The annoying resolution is to restart the LG G7 ThinQ every 2 or 3 days to feel smoother & faster. I wished the higher refresh rates would solve the problem, really it does not solve the problem. In 2020, a midrange SD 765 device with 120Hz display definitely has seen UI hiccups or stuttering. I surely blame LG for not providing us unlocked bootloaders, so we can enjoy custom kernels, which helps us change the CPU governors etc, which would greatly improves LG G7's overall performance even with custom refresh rates, i.e Google Pixel 3 or the One Plus 6 has smoother performance than the G7, despite all uses 60Hz displays. I surely will switch to any device with 2K resolution bearing 120Hz displays, eagerly waiting for the One Plus 8 Pro.
