LG G7 Sprint Unlock?

Well kinda of I have not tried it yet because I don't have the G7 yet. But a guy on ebay says he can do it for $50usd he will flash your phone to a international version. Just like I did my G6 before but I wonder which dll he used in LG up
im the guy from ebay, i tested with my sprint g7 before listing the unlock service, everything is working fine.:good::highfive:

Use octopus newest version of lg software and select model G710EM then use this kdz https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W14Y-jbvnwDt4UOfitni8hDGfwYsXesV/view write the firmware then its unlocked.
I tested it worked perfectly
I dont think there is patched dll yet still have to wait for that i believe

Is there some actual insight to this, have we been successfully rooted through flashing the em firmware you have linked above?
Flashing the firmware with octopus unlocks the phone just like v30 and g6 i think it either overwrites the lock or causes the phone not to check for the lock status something like that and you dont get annoying sprint bloat so phone is like 100 times faster

I don't root personally i think its worse then stock rom i simply unlock it by flashing that kdz
i dont remember wich firmware the sprint was on it was something with 10 but this method will work on all as long as no downgrade
Did you read my post? I say use octoplus lg software they just came out with an update that can flash G7 firmware select model G710EM and then add the kdz and write firmware super easy
Guess I'll be that guy..... Could this, in theory, work on the T-mobile variant?
I'm no rules expert in regards to xda regulations and what not but that might possibly be against the rules in some way shape or form.
In all reality there is (or was) a group on here obviously trying to figure out how to get the few G7 variants unlocked AND rooted so I was being myself and trying to help the many people here that love xda and get as much information as possible so no one bricks their device trying things.
(paying someone to unlock my phone doesn't help this case)
I would much prefer helping everyone here get their device rooted and whatnot and it appears like someone in this thread has figured it out where legitimate or not is not known yet
Nooooo please dont try on t-mobile version i tried this method on v30 and R.I.P i believe v30 g6 and g7 tmobile version cant flash any other version because of the partions difference just a warning only use this method on att and sprint to unlock so you dont brick

Well in theory according to my reading there is a semi persistent twrp currently for this device over in the roms and kernels section of our device along with a magisk root procedure there as well (both being for the European model), now that it appears someone has found out how to flash the em firmware onto a sprint variant this method may have become possible
Well the thing is when i flash em firmware i go into settings and it said uhl or something like that not em so idk if it will work but if someone wants to try go ahead

If someone can get someone like autoprime or another good lg developer on this thread i can log the data from octoplus flashing a g7 and they might be able to make a dll or something from it so everyone can do it with lgup and not have to have octoplus box @autoprime

thats why i didnt put a link or any other contact info here telling you guys to pay me for flashing your phone.
but ive seen recognized root/bootloader unlock solutions for HTC "i dont remember the name of the app" but it charges every user for the root
