LG G7 Sprint Unlock?

My octoplus box is from gsmsever but i bought z3x boxes from this guy and he is good and any box will update to the version i said just download the exe installer from octoplus site install it and good to go this guy has box already activated so you just plug in and should work

Your not paying for the box its just a smart card with uart capability its only like 9$ to make. Your buying access to the software the box just tells the software you are verified purchaser.

Yeah it sucks basically and there's tons of software cracks out there for the software but not the needed version. I'm a developer as well so I try to never pirate software so that's why I'm buying them. To be honest, I've always wanted one and I came from a heavy Samsung background so it makes sense to buy the LG/Samsung version, so that's why I'm getting it and not waiting for either an LGUP dll crack or octopus crack.

No it doesnt that i know of i think they just had a big flashing update but dont know if they added support for g7

All good, I already ordered my second box (but without cables). It should be here in a few days. It didnt come with cables (or the optimus cable), are these required or can I just use my own USB C cables?

Use your own those cables are only good for uart cable and thats really for samsung frp on old ufs so dont really need it

Does anyone have orginall dll and the patched version of the same dll i only have pathced no orginals if someone has both can you send me download link so i can compare and attempt to make a patched lg g7 dll so we can use lgup i heard someone doing it with just hex editor so it shouldnt be to complicated

710ULM bought on ebay

Thats what I figured was going on, I have NOT yet converted to the ULM firmware just yet. NOT until another Sprint user in the US can confirm they still have service. That is what I am waiting for. The ULM is unlocked but apparently also impacts the CDMA so I cant risk losing service until we have a proven method to roll back. That is assuming it doesnt work, so I am just waiting for another XDA'er on Sprint to confirm the ULM unlocked model works.

Bought an 'unlocked' G710ULM on ebay, no serial #, was with T-Mobile (GSM) and everything OK except lousy coverage in my spots. IMEI checks confirmed it was a Sprint phone. Went to Sprint for better coverage and CDMA. Tech there set everything, sent me home with 'it'll be up in 15 minutes' line, never activated. Went back the next day, lead tech there worked on it for over an hour, said everything was set correctly but he couldn't make it work. Nice fellow, swapped out for a new Sprint phone.

Thanks for the info, I decided against swapping to ULM and purchased a second octoplus box so I will have options when it arrives.

Found something interesting while searching for Octoplus info while I wait on my new box to arrive. I found this link to a modified LGUP with the common DLL. I decided to test it and it loaded up the pic below with all the options and saw my device. If anyone is confident enough to try it without the box, here is the info (note, the picture is real from my Sprint LG G7):

This is for sp200 not g7 wont work i have tried with the g6 and v30 cross flash dll with no success this wont work we need g7 specific dll that is patched

Figured but at least we're getting closer, the refurbished option shows up with this modified LGUP. That would allow us to flash as refurbished but another firmware once we get a working DLL. My post was more for the LGUP giving the options for refurb than for the DLL.

All dlls do that i tried repartition dll with a v30 dll and lgup always throws and error you can try it its safe wont damage phone i just tried a v40 also it reconises it and has option but when you do it has error. We have patched lgup just not dll

Honestly at this point, I'm waiting for my new box to arrive to try any custom cross-flashing. I need my device for communication with my kids so it's too important to mess around with until I have a backup/restore method. I am just giving info as I find it so others (like yourself) who have the box (or some type of a recovery method) can test it. I will be testing every sort of method once I have my box and can recover in the event of disaster.

My new Octoplus box should be here Christmas Eve so an awesome early present for me! If all goes well, I will be flashing away custom ROMs in no time but more importantly, I will have a restore method if I break it so I can test DLL's and LGUP for others! Once I have my box and a proven method to recover, I will be testing every possible scenario until we find a working method for everyone (without a box)!

Ask the guy you bought from what the activation string is and enter it into the octoplus shell software
