Phone flashed successfully. Looks good, still No S/N, September 1st security update, 4glte icon shows, selected on Automatic LTE3g/2g/4g (before its says wcdma) option in network setting.
Signal is not too good for me. LTE download speedtest i got 14.8 mbps before right now its 4 mbps.
Im on Tmobile USA only got 1 or 2 bar (-106dbm) on band 4 or 2. if find band12 it will Have 4 bar at my location for now.
Other than that the firmware runs great, wifi calling works on T-mobile. FM radio app changed to next radio. It has 4k 60fps option now in camera app. Google pay can't set up though ,guess that no S/N thing. But overall Im happy with this Rom.
I guess for future update we just have to follow Project Fi firmware flash manually. Hopefully Android pie come out soon.

Same PM to ULM situation here. But I am on July 1st security patch, and the S/N code was displayed normally. Not sure if I can flash the newer firmware...

I’m gonna try this on my verizon. Is this the same way if you wanna flash a lower firmware?
Probably won't work, usually there is an anti-downgrade check or something similar. I saw similar text fly by during the LG UP process.
Separately, I'm in the same boat, ordered an "Unlocked" from ebay, got the LG710PM flashed to LG710ULM with May security update, no updates available. Out of the box, worked fine for Data and MMS, but SMS (regular text messaging) didn't work on Page Plus. Just followed this guide, flashed smoothly! Now on G710ULM10g with September 1st security patch. With the update, everything is working, call, SMS, MMS, works great.
I’m not sure if I can talk this in here, but this unit that we bought has an frp lock. The seller showed us before we bought the phone that he’s resetting it. Didn’t realize that android has that frp thing now. So we thought we just have to go home and set it up on the internet. But it was locked. I was using an iphone for awhile and my last phone that I was actively flashing and always on xda site was HTC One S. lol anyways, maybe I’ll try this and see what’s gonna happen. Nothing to lose. This phone is a waste of money and a paper weight.

I have a locked lg-g710pm, the flash of a kdz of g710ulm but now it only restarts in the firmware update. lg bridge does not download anything, support tool lg does not download anything either.

Did you follow the instructions? Remember that if you were going to flash with LGUP... You must have uninstalled Lgbridge. And make sure you used all the info from the links in the post.

I will inform again. From the beginning
1. my g7 thinq is the sprint model with original firmware, g710pm12a
2. Follow the steps described. Uninstall all LG soft.
3. extrai .dll, I use kdz g710ulm, in the lgup only upgrade and fota upgrade appears.
4. I select upgrade and fota upgrade.and shows error: you can not cross the model.
5. I close lgup, restart g7 but now only a firmware update is restarted, I use hard reset, it does not work.
6. Install lg bridge does not recognize cellular.
7. I install lg support tools, it recognizes firmware g7 (g710pm11a), in the top left, above installing driver, where the model should appear, it just says waiting for connection.
8. I enter recovery, income the imei, check the cell phone, pc, so. when going to the discharge of the s / w. does not perform any action, the loading bar does not appear, and the button only marks exit, the store counter stops at 00:24.

Can you put the phone on download mode? You must select REFURBISH and not upgrade......
Refurbished does not appear. yes it is in download mode. only upgrade and fota upgrade appears. with the dll of the link.
Did you watch the video of LGUP to see the steps i know its in Spanish... But it can work to see if you did all the steps.....
Make sure that your phone is the lg-g710pm CONVERTED to the G710ulm. I don't think you can just straight up flash LG-G710pm with another firmware. From what I read, my phone and Radha09's phone are both converted from LG-G710pm to G710ulm by the seller whom used octopus box to do it.
confirm LG G710PM cant convert to G710ULM or any Unlocked Firmware of LG G7 ThinkQ via LG Up (Patched) now if the phone running software V12A, dont try convert Your Phone will brick on screen Firmware Update

I purchased the same phone from ebay and got the exact same thing as OP, stuck on may 1 update, battery life is poor and won't update. It's the pm model converted to ULM. Is this method still working to get it to sept at least and fix the battery and camera issues? Or should i just return it but it was a steal for 299.99 brand new so I hope it still works LOL. Thanks in advance.
