How u settled the issue i have same problem, phone model is of sprint while hardware model is of ULM how to resolve this issue as my phone stucks daily and i have to soft reset in number of time daily.

Tried this, have voice and text on sprint, but no data. Does anyone have access to LG710PM (Sprint) firmware? I'm on ULM, but i need sprint.
Right now I have a working Sprint GM model (still stock from sprint), how do you want me to dump the ROM?

@bobloadmire need the stock firmware dump to restore his G710PM sprint.
He can just flash the dumped system_01.img back to his phone to restore his phone.
Just rename system_01.img to system.bin and use patched LGUP to flash system.bin to fix the issues.

Can this same method be used to flash european firmware onto the T-mobile variant?
Also it seems we need a modded DLL as just the patched version of LGUP fails to dump. I even have an authentic LG octoplus and cannot dump the firmware. I think we need the DLL before we can get this working or wait until LG/Sprint pushes the next update (Pie). We could possibly then get the firmware from the update and have a restore (Sprint) method.
I'm really sorry but I keep forgetting. So the Sprint model is not recognized from LG bridge or is it?

Has anyone had to do something special to get wifi calling working? I don't have the option anywhere in the settings, and under the phone info menu it shows that it's not provisioned

I tried updating the phone via OTA or LGBridge and i had no luck. So i looked online for the correct KDZ file for the LGG710PM and also no luck, So what i did is look for a G710ULM KDZ, but the only one the i could find was the G710ULM10G_00 (https://www.mylgphones.com/lg-g7-thinq-project-fi-stock-firmware-g710ulm10g.html) . So after searching online and watching some videos on youtube if this could work, i found a youtuber video (MAXLEE) he change a FIRMWARE of sprint to a Canadian FIRMWARE and it work he did it on a LG G6. So what i did is try it on MY G7 model LGG710PM“ the only thing is that on the G7 there's a few more steps to do:
1) Download G710ULM10G_00 KDZ file

2) Download LGUP and install (make sure to use this link for download and follow instructions, like this you don't get an error when
you insert the KDZ file and hit START).

A) Make sure you don't have LGBrige installed, if so UNINSTALL and delete any folder of LGBridge after you have uninstalled

D) Go to file “model” (C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model) then go to file “common”....go to step “E” don't close the
window….
E) Go to the UNZIP FOLDER, go to file WindowsLGFirmwareExtract-1.2.6.1-Release. Run “WindowsLGFirmwareExtract.exe” and select
the KDZ file you downloaded, then make sure you
check on “LGUPc.dll. EXTRACT KDZ.
F) A file “LGUPc.dll” will be created, Copy that file into the folder “common”...... you should had left that window open from step “D”. Rename the actual “LGUP_Common.dll” to

I can confirm that this does indeed work for Verizon. V10b-lao-com device cought off of eBay. Used this guide and now have working service on Verizon. Can't access WiFi calling settings or even *#*#4636#*#* however.
Does this unlock the apn settings on the g710pm? Phone says SIM unlocked, i can make calls and send messages with my cricket SIM, but can not change apn settings for mobile data. Thanks

PS: I just connect the phone with UPPERCUT ( without any DLL ) and it could see the phone fine

Tried this on a whole bunch of converted G710PM running V10b-LAO-COM and claiming ULM with empty S/N under settings. On almost every unit, it gets stuck at 4% and gives an error: skip write protected lun
Some units also do not have the "Refurbish" option in LGUp.

At first, it's a 710pm. I purchase a unlock service from ebay, they remotely flash g710ulm10f using the octoplus.
Here's few questions.
1. Does this method able to help me to update?
2. on the 10f, there is no wifi calling, will i get wifi calling after update?
3. I see my phone using band 4 all the time, even i drive 50miles everyday. So how can i tell the 10f have band 2 or 12 enable? i am using t-mobile.
*#*#4636#*#* work for me. but volte, video calling and wifi calling is gray out, but i could enable EAB/presence provisioned. Should I?
