Any other trusted places to buy G3 batteries apart from the LG website? Because even Amazon doesn't seem to have genuine batteries according to reviews. The last one I bought on eBay got bloated and lost charge.

These are back in stock as of today. They were OOS of the charger cradle though. When I checked in June, they didn't have the batteries either, so that is a good sign. Hopefully they are fairly new production.

I ordered a 5000mAh TQTHL from ebay, it fits the normal case. I will test the capacity when it arrives, first how much it initially takes to fully charge it, then begin to discharge with normal use down to around 1% charge and how much charge it takes to fully charge. It sells for ~$15

update: So the initial charge the battery took 1000mAh. Then fully discharged the batt till the phone shut down and it took 3000mAh fully charged. Definitely not worth the $15. Will either get a partial refund or just return it.
upddate2: Got a $10 partial refund, so the batt only cost $5

Yes, I ordered two, one each for the wife and I. They were new production, made in July 2016 IIFC.

BTW, the charging cradle is also back in stock for the G3. Although not advertised, if you add a battery and the cradle, a discount is applied. $20 for both!

for anyone who ordered one, what is the manufacture date of the battery? It doesn't make much sense to buy them if they were made sometime in 2014.

I purchased two of these with a date of 7-2016 however I get a flashing battery icon when trying to power up my phone with one of them. On closer inspection I can see some green corrosion on two of the four contacts. Also, neither of the new ones match my original battery that has the label which wraps over the top of the battery. Hopefully I just got a defective one and not a knock-off.
