Got a bad "system ui" stop when I tried to use Xposed s8 nav icons.
Formated /system in twrp reflash aicp reflash kernel from Nov.. got to boot.

That's how mine looked. But I couldn't get facebook to open. This was the only app that I had that was tripping. Since facebook is so important to me, I went back to supersu.

You can flash this on stock rom ,lineage os 32bit, aicp 32bit.
Don't use this on twrp 64.. you'll get a kernel crash.

I'm on kernel 3.18.31.. just did a factory reset and blocked most recent system update. Security patch August 1st 2017.
Would like to overclock a bit for pubg, slightly choppy in fights lol.

The OP has moved on to another device. And I couldn't tell you for sure, but I can say that I was concerned at 1 time but it has worked on every update thus far.
Currently I am running AICP and it's working just fine.
Don't think you can overclock it but I don't think I've ever tried either. Pretty snappy as it is.
If anyone tries it hopefully they'll let us know for sure.

Could you run geekbench? Close all other processes first..
I benched stock 7.0 and got:
Single-Core 655
Multi-Core 1813
Under the 4/13 build of RR64 I got:
692 single
1928 multi
So you're probably better off with the stock kernel.
I'm running RR 32bit with this kernel and my K20 plus runs like a champ. I have zero issues to report.
RR 32bit should be Official.

Does the kernel offer any kind of useful advantages (battery tweaks, etc.)?
Im familiar with custom kernels from my time with the oneplus 3t,but I'm only using this phone untill I buy the 5t (rip my poor oneplus
)
I already have resurrection remix installed, so I don't much feel that I need to tweak/ change the kernel unless it offers a good benefit.
