LG myTouch [e739] Development

I think someone in the thread for it said that they were using the crossbreeder script, which also does something with "entropy". I'm not a huge follower of all these different scripts or tweaks, but I think it's similar to Seeder.

It also seems like a lot of the popular scripts do similar things.

Is there a generally accepted list of scripts that I should run?

Which of the popular one's can I run that don't do similar things? For example, just skimming the notes it seems like V6 Supercharger and the other scripts by zepplinrox do similar things to some of the PMR scripts so I wouldn't want to run both of them. Same thing with Seeder and Crossbreeder.

For example, I'm running PooP and I installed V6 supercharger, KAK, 3G Turboscharger, Crossbreeder, some GPS tweak I found on here a while ago that doesn't seem to make any difference, and the egl patch. Things seem to play nice together, but for all I know there's something awesome that I'm missing or something stupid that I'm doing.

For some reason running PMR now crashes my device so I wouldn't know exactly what tweaks I used maybe until I reinstall.

Here is something thats been buggin me since ics.....Why does the power menu open twice? lol hoping its not just my phone, considering cm7 n stock dont do it. Shuttle you said something about screen on flicker i got that too...ill have to reread to find the info.

Video recording works for me. but ove heard mixed results possibly scaling back resolutions or something. I dunno i havent changed any camera stuff. other then 4.2 cam flash

I noticed that bug as well. Also I think I have found another bug too. The button used to dismiss the notifications seems to disappear at random times and doesn't come back unless I reboot. Anybody else noticed this?

But why? Some phones like optimus l9 got a forum and they don't even have any custom rom.We got so many roms,kernels and we can't get a forum?

I think they keep refusing us because they consider our phones a dead platform, whereas the L9 and others are newer phones.

i just compiled my first rom from source's wohooo, it took me ~ 4.5 h.....and it's cm10, compiled with linaro 4.7.3...and also it includes my latest kernel in it.....lol, i need to test now...i will release it under D-lord ROM v0.3 with gapps included and some tweaks to it...

I agree though, the phone's kinda old and there aren't a huge amount of people that seem to post here. The people who dev for the phone and work hard and the people who support them are doing just fine with this thread.

I mean, things are getting a little cluttered with all sorts different topics related to the phone jumbled together here, but it's not too bad. If we were gonna get our own forum, we'd probably have gotten it when the phone was at it's "peak" (user wise, we've gotten so many cool things lately).

If there was somehow a repo with the roms and kernels and tweaks we have all posted in this thread with a link on the op it would probably minimize the need to ask for where to find something.
