Fewer devs using LG and LG being a crybaby and claiming that Windows Phone doesn't generate enough revenue to support it. Both.

i talked with LG support in spain and they tell me that the 7.8 update for optimus 7 depends of microsoft and not of LG

Microsoft Russia confirmed that WP7.8 will be released for all existing WP smartphone, in the first months of 2013 (Q1)
Anyway, it's sad to see that there isn't any custom rom or a project, for one of the best 1st generation WP smartphone.
