Would any rooted AT&T V20 user be able to provide these files:

Code:
/system/framework/lge-res/lge-res.apk
/system/framework/framework-res.apk

I was told by an AT&T user that this variant has Adaptive Brightness enabled, which the T-Mobile version is sadly missing.
@Tilde88 was very kind in offering to take a look and maybe get Adaptive Brightness working on his ROM, but needs these files.

Also, if you have a stock system.img and boot.img for your device, I will make a MOD ROM and kernel for you guys. I have been trying to get some modded goodness out, so us H918 users aren't the only ones with modded ROMs, but I can't find the stock files for them.
I need AT&T, VZW, Sprint, and Korean IMGs. Has to be system.img and boot.img, not just one or the other. Also, can't be a TWRP backup, must be an IMG file.

I'll see what I can do about getting those files for y'all both. Give me a little to extract them and start an upload.

EDIT:
I included the odex files (inside of oat folder) for the lge-res.apk. Not sure if you need that or not. I'll try and see if I can get you the system.img and boot.img as well.

framework-res.apk
lge-res.zip

So @Tilde88, I'm not completely sure if this system is 100% stock as I had flashed the boot.img's from dirtysanta and such. But here is my uploads for system.img and I'll also upload the boot.img that was backed up from dirtysanta (original boot.img). Hopefully this helps you out! My upload speeds from where I am at right now are pretty terrible so it took a long time to upload this

boot.img (ORIG)

Something is wrong with your system.img :\ and it is about a gig too small. good news is, @nikktrikk gave me an h910 system.img and boot.img. Uploading ROM now if you are down to test (bc I think you are H910 also?)

@nikktrikk link will be here when you are ready to test also.

Remember guys, I do not have your devices, so this might fail.
Be sure to make a system, boot, and data backup in TWRP just in case.

As for the ROM, it is identical to my MOD ROM that I run on my H918. I've also compiled a custom kernel for you. The kernel should enable color control, give you the bluactive governor, enable the Zen Decicion hotplug driver, switch IO scheduler to NOOP, and a few tweaks here and there.
Build.prop tweaked out.
Phone should be super smooth (if it boots :p )
setenforce = 0
romo does not encrypt
supersu included
viper included
deODEXd
debloated (as much as I could, I don't have AT&T so I don't know which AT&T apps I could remove, so I took out the obvious ones)
Color control app is included in the ROM.
Should be able to simply flash the ROM over your existing ROM, no need to wipe.
ETA is 30 minutes on upload if you want to test.
Start backing up system, boot, and data in TWRP now to save time. (data not really necessary, but still a good idea)
If it boots, I'll make a thread for this. First boot will take a long time, then you should see the Android progress bar at some point. Once it boots, it will take about 5 minutes for the kernel to settle, throughout this time, the phone will be laggy. That is a one-time thing

Our stock boot.imgs will not work for you because we do not use them, we are using the konverged kernel. My system img.(stock sprint img) came out to 5.5 gb.

lol, sorry you make no sense.
I got everything I need. either way, I don't need the boot.img for the kernel, just the ramdisk, I made the kernel.
And both IMG files I got are fine.

Ah well sorry I wasn't sure if it would work or not. I used Superr Kitchen to make it into a system.img from a TWRP backup. Glad you managed to get the files though!
I'd be happy to test out whenever you have something for me to test.

Lol. Ill re-explain. Yes you can use our Ramdisk, Your custom kernel will need special defconfig flags or it will be a static screen(as the kernel we are currently using does). I didn't fully explain those. My bad.

Downloading now. I'll let you know how it goes!

---------- Post added at 10:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:19 PM ----------

I got an updater process ended with ERROR: 7

"This package is for "h910" devices; this is a "us996""

My device version showed that it was still an h910 on factory reset. I tried installing your ROM on my V20 after I had used TWRP to restore my backup. I just did another factory reset, and it gave me the same error. The us996 is the unlocked variant directly from LG. What can I do about this?

Open the ZIP in your PC, and go to META-INF/com/google/android and delete only the file called updater-script.
Put this one in there to replace it

It worked! That fixed it and it flashed with no problems. It is booting now, I will update you after it goes through the entire process to let you know if everything is good ;):good:

Currently still downloading to test on my phone.
nikktrikk, can you see if your FM Radio, Wifi calling, and some other features work properly? Also did the boot up still contain the static screen - I'm assuming it did just because of it using the custom kernel still. Just curious

Hmmm. I may have botched the FM module... Sorry.

When you say you are able to add new users now, do you mean that AT&T v20 didn't have multi-user support? I can list that as a feature in my thread if so.

There was definitely no multi-user support on the stock AT&T variant. When you pull down the menu from the top, the green icon to the right of the settings gear that you see was not there before. Also, under settings>General>Personal, the Users menu was not there before. Definitely a new feature!
