Lg v20 OTG help

So i went to 3 stores looming for the usb c to usb a connecter OTG but what sucks is my phone wont see my hard drive and the OS is set to power supply. I tried changing it to file or picture transfer and no go still stays at power supply. How can i get my phone to see my hard drive. Thanks

Plug in the otg. You should get a notification asking if you want to change the setting. Change it. Now open a file explorer and it should be there. If not, unplug the otg, plug it back in and try it again. The setting is glitchy and some times needs to be selected a couple times.

I managed to find out. Android dont see an ntfs nor giuld drive altho es file explorer see the drive on my 4tb drive but its not supported i got an app that will read my drive and was happy to see i can access my files just want to transfer without having to use a pc and paid 6 bucks for the exfat and works perfectly on my 4tb drive
