I would surely but I dread the TP short. None of the tutorials or diagrams are clear. I don't know exactly what to short. I checked my motherboard, too much action there too precisely short the exact atom sized point. My eyes aren't that good lately. Is there any other way to get the Qualcomm 9008 without shorting?

It's not about eyes hurting. I cannot see that fine anymore. After a certain age one doesn't see that fine. I will try to get one of my nephews to visit me on Sunday and assist me with the shorting. Ten years ago I could fix the inside of a phono cartridge without any glasses. I've been trying to short for the past two days with multiple glasses, extra lights, magnifying glass, zoomed in video camera, etc. I will definitely get it shorted tomorrow. If not my nephews then the repair store. Thanks.

i test shorted and it went to qualcomm 9008 mode again then i flashed with qfil and your new files it downloaded successsfully but it doesnt turn on it goes back to qualcomm 9008 mode again i have tried several times and it still goes back to 9008 mode again please help

Plugged the other end to my laptop. Nothing. I took it to a repair shop finally and asked them to short it. They tried. Yet. Nothing. They too couldn't get it back to Qualcomm mode. I should have waited rather than be the first to try the debrick on this thread. But I am glad it's the end of the story now. I shall either order a new board from ebay or aliexpress. Or buy a new phone. Not LG V10 this time.

Could you elaborate please? Suppose we get the h90021w_00_0921 file. Then do you suggest we use the xml files provided in this thread? Or what? Do you suggest we try it or are you sure it will work? I got my phone to hell and back and to hell again (whatever that'd mean). It was in qualcomm mode then after this tutorial it went into bootloop/no qualcomm mode and to qualcomm again after test pin short (it wasn't that simple for me). Hence, if you are sure something will work please be more precise. There are a huge load of people here with H901 w/vs990 bricked motherboards, waiting with a bucketload of thanks.

I have two motherboards:
1. (1) 0.75 VS990_EAX66808501_1.0
2. (2) 0.75 VS990_EAX66808501_1.0
they differ in the number in brackets

1. the first motherboard. Once every 15 times it will go to bootstrap.
- sometimes it stops at the logo
- sometimes it shows that it charges batteries
- he showed me the green screen once
- going to download mode - stops in the image "download mode" does not go to firmware update
- usually does not respond at all
- qfil returns error when loading the file.

2. second motherboard - the phone does not respond at all
- qfil correctly transmits the file (the same file that can not be sent to the first motherboard), but the phone still does not respond. (log two posts earlier).

Friends I bought a phone v10 x901 through the program lg bridge updated (the update was downloaded and after the reboot the phone no longer turned on when the phone was disassembled there was a motherboard from vs990 I'm shocked !!!) there's nothing to react when the charger is connected too, no, even tried to put on a cable a battery and pressed the button there's nothing to go on can help or tell what to do next or maybe I'll fix it thanks
