Hi. I know this is taboo to talk about but I am NOT asking for a link or anything, just want to discuss. My questions are:

1. Has anyone successfully gotten root with this method?
2. Why does it brick devices?

Again, this is just a discussion, not asking for links or giving anything out.

It's not a matter of "taboo." There is no practical benefit in discussing a tool that's not available now and should never have been released in the first place. Even if your questions get answered, what useful thing could be done with that information?

haha I get that feeling of taboo too but I get more and more interested in this tool from a technical standpoint, plus everyone is so cryptic about it. More or less from what I've gathered is that jcase gained root access using a particular version of the tool, but for some reason it is too hard for your average joe to use it so he decided to not publish / further support it ... hence it was wiped from existence.

Also on one thread, I think the original bounty thread he mentioned something along that lines that the tool does not do what everyone thinks it does (queue dramatic mystery music here)
