What rom are you on? Do you have root? Deodexed? How are you trying to install the app?

You posted a download link for apk. I downloaded and attempted to install like any other apk using package installer. I'm stock non-rooted.

Ah okay then, the app I posted a download link to is pulled from an early z2 system dump and Deodexed so it would need to be pushed to system app on a (preferably) deodexed device which requires root. Seeing that your signature indicates that you have a z2 then you should be able to get the latest version of the app from playstore.

Unavailable in US. It will be available in the Android general thread at some point. It's been requested.

Here is the lifelog apk!


I've just downloaded it from the Play Store and it installed fine on my Z1 with official 4.4.2 KK. It can also be started and works.


I then grabbed the app from my phone and uploaded it here for others to enjoy who might not be able to download it yet.

(This is not from the Z2 system dump as this version won't work, at least not for me!)

i got the lifelog working on my nexus 5, but havnt' had luck yet with the smartband connet app.

also the lifelog app crashes if you try certain links, i'm guessing they're still coded to sony media apps.

anyone got this working on a non xperia device yet (that is also running 4.4)

When I'm trying to install the lifelog apk. i'm getting "requires unavailable shared library com.sony.device; failing"
Can anybody provide the library?

In my z1 lifelog from sony is working. I copy apk to system and set permissions then reboot and it work

It's a normal Playstore app, and it has no sense, till the new Smartband from sony comes out.

Where is the smartband out? Every shop says released on the 1st of May
