After update from january 12 to 15 version fingerprint has stopped working.
Also if you plan to return to MIUI , DON'T ENCRYPT your device and DON'T REQUIRE ANY PASSWORD to start android. Otherwise MIUI won't boot. You may do it only by deep-flashing your device.
I not build 01.12. It seems you do not have goodix. you do not need this build.

It's it true? That fingerprint will only work for devices with goodfix and not for fpc?
There are two fingerprint revisions: Goodix and fpc. You cannot compile the kernel easily for both revisions at the same time so opting for one revision or the other is an easy way to get both working. That's why this LOS version is for Goodix *only*. Fpc is supported by other ROMs AFAIK.

I did try the rom. Works fine. Battery seems good. But, turns out I had flashed the wrong version for my fingerprint.
Being in a hurry, while setting up the Rom I checked the "ask password on startup".
I used the rom, and the booted in TWRP, but I couldn't see my internal storage.
I restored my nandroid backup from my pendrive and was saved. But even while booting MIUI it asked for the startup password. I did put it. But after booting, no data was restored, as TWRP can't access my internal storage. Everything else seems fine.
But I can't see my internal storage from TWRP, and everytime I boot into it, it asks for a decryption password, which I cancel.
Can someone please help me out here?
@BlueFlame4, an RD's help will be really welcome!
:)

PS: TWRP can't even wipe the storage
Also, after restoring the backup, twrp prompted me, "the file system was changed, please change in back to ext4, or else the Rom might not boot"
I proceeded anyway, and it did boot. But twrp still can't see the int storage :(
I don't own the device and alex9yust already did a great job fixing Redmi Note 3's Goodix scanner, so I am certain he will do it here as well :)
