Unfortunately, sound is not working for me throught the speaker and headphones :/ Also camera is not working - error CSF.REAR
I was reinstalling ROM 3 times and still nothing. :crying: Does anyone else have the same problem?

Yep, my last lineage version is "lineage reloaded" coz of root and Google way ... This one can give more battery life, that's all folks

Hi, it's not mac adress it's wifi drivers, to make it short :
Boot specifie driver name to launch, for P8 it's BCM4334 , for H7 it' BCM4339 , for your device it's should be BCMxxx , to patch it correctly you must have your Mates S files : system/vendor/firmware.
maybe you will need some stock libs too
to port for H7 i did copy of my files (bcm 4339) and renamed to (bcm 4334) so you need to add your owns and rename them too after some test you should have the good combination.
here is all the patchs i applied to to the P8 rom to make it H7 compatible

You can use it as "model" to patch Mate S , just unzip , replace files, zip again and flash.

Hi , yes and no , @T1mb3 sucessfully compiled Lineage14 without error for P8 , but no success to boot it properly , sometime black screen , sometime bootloop .. maybe AD2076 get the same problem.
If you want to build you should be better to start by Lineage13 , Spritix get started a git' based on P8 one , but with H7 sources , in less of 1 week we got a bootable lineage13 , with some bugs .. it's really not finished yet:

Hi, we're currently trying to build source-based LOS13 for Honor 7, but we aren't able to boot the kernel (it's working with any other boot.img - and the battery life seems to be very good).
For LOS14 there will be problems with booting kernel, because many drivers are proprietary and the biggest problem will be fixing bugs when it boots, because camera and some other libs are not compatibile with android 7.

Would've loved to use this ROM if video recording worked with the stock app. I hate using 3rd party camera app since there is no decent one and most of them have ads on them. Any idea when video recording is fixed or any other recommended camera app then those mentioned in the post?

I solved the wifi problem thanks to the files you gave me. I could not fix the camera, but I'm working on it. I have fixed the no-sim card error with the build.prop file you gave earlier in miui rom.


Note: my english is not good, so I use translate, thanks very much for your help

For camera, first unpack my boot, and unpack a stock one.
Now replace my kernel by the stock one and repack my boot. , (with osmosis unpack tool kernel is : split_img/ boot.img.zimage) flash it and check if it still boot (normally it's ok)

On a stock ROM, give me content of /system/miniisp , and /system/ISP

I will help you after get theses files.
