Does the projector work? Thinking about getting one. I have the sound boost 2 and it won't work
We need a officially tested Moto mod list. A working and non working. so people don't waste money on a mod that doesn't work with the ROM or bl unlock and flash a ROM with mods that become useless. My confirmed listed WORKING Battery Mod, Gamepad mod, NOT WORKING Jbl sound boost 2
Just got projector it works perfectly and getting 360 mod tomorrow. Got the projector second hand for $50 and 360 on Amazon $40. Loving this ROM and mods

)) I've initially flashed RR rom and it worked fine until I decided to try something else...as you might know, twrp can't be installed permanently under rr, and I simply can't either flash the stock image or any other. RSP light doesn't work on my windows 10;( should I do a vm, or there's any other option to flash the latest firmware and get this rom installed? just want to wipe everything and start from scratch. Any step-by-step would be appreciated, since I love this phone more than 3-times more expensive alternatives I have on the shelf))

Are you able to fastboot twrp?
Getting it to truly wipe can be interesting. I've done it and had it actually wipe, then I did it and nothing really seemed to come off.
What I suggest in TWRP is to first go to wipe and format. That should clear encryption. Then wipe everything but the microsd. I keep it clean because I load my roms there. Maybe reboot and do it all again just to be sure.
You need three zips. This rom, a GAPPS for 9.0, and Magisk to get root. You don't need root but why not if you are going this far. Flash them in that order before rebooting.
You can flash the recovery to most roms if you do it in bootloader and use an adb command.

Noob here, if anyone is still following this can I ask a dumb question. I have an old G6 that I toy with. Lineage was a bit of a pain to be frank. One flash and it couldn't read SDs. I wiped and tried again and GPS didn't work. Third time seems ok.
Is this rom ready for prime time? I'm on a rooted stock 9 now. I finally got it to stop warning me about updates.
No TWRP for RR ROM;(
The for your suggestion, but I can't boot twrp from the PC since no fastboot and my default recovery is damb 8.1 default version. Besides that no twrp could be installed on RR ROM;(((
Sorry about the delay, I don't get emails from here. What I meant was to boot holding down the power and vol - buttons. That is a fastboot capable screen. Then you can fastboot twrp with the command and it doesn't install, just boots temporarily.
My experience with lineage Z3 Play
Recently installed unofficial 16.0-20191007 by Jleeblanch plus nano gapps and magisk (tried 17.0 and it had radio issues), so far no major complaints......used 3.3.1.0 twrp for beckham, did format and wipes, used twrp adb sideloads with restarts to bootloader each time, also had to use fastboot to flash bluetooth from retus build which you can find on lolinet... don't know which mods are working, I don't use any.....just my two cents. Thx

I think he/she was talking about the JBL Soundboost mod, but that's just my guess.
is anyone testing this rom? as it is of high chance that z3 play will never get android 10, we need a custom rom to keep our z3 play alive.
Ive been using this for about a week now. Wifi, phone calls, texting, Bluetooth all seem to work great. Phone is smooth. Im on Verizon btw.
Moto Mods are the only thing im having an issue with. Battery Mod works but i cant see the charge % of it in the moto mods manager drop down.
So i looked into maybe updating the moto mods manager app. Moto Mods Manager (version 02.08.018) is installed as a system app (its not listed as a system app on my Z2). When I go into the play store no update for it is shown in "available updates" but if i goto the app itself in the play store it says there is an update available but it fails when you try to install it (version 02.08.031). Tried clearing cache of the moto mods manager and the play store but it didnt help.
I have the JBL Speaker app installed and it opens fine without the speaker. It prompts you to install the speaker when you open it but as soon as you snap on the speaker it instantly crashes. Cleared cache of the app but still happens. Speaker does still seem to work however. Might be related to the Manager, unsure on this.

I hope this ROM can go official some time as I think z3 play has a larger user base than both z3 and z4 such that z3 play is the one to keep my mods working and future proof.

I havent gotten any security updates and i doubt it will. Its only been a week though.
