LineageOS 11 for Samsung Galaxy Core Plus SM-G350

This is LineageOS 11.0 for Samsung Galaxy Core Plus SM-G350. (if you have a letter in the end, ask me before flashing. Ex. SM-G350A)
Only compatible with SM-G350! Only for Single-SIM variants with Android 4.2.2

Milestone release (nearly stable)
This is ready for daily use and is stable as possible!

What is tested and working

• Audio input/ouput
• Calls
• Mobile data

• Camera

What is not working

• Calls with Bluetooth headphones. (includes any Bluetooth devices)
• Codecs are not usable for some browsers/apps.
• Some apps can't record video. GLES related problem.

ATTENTION! Video recording:
Recommended settings: 480p h.264 + aac
720p recording works only with mpeg4 encoding!
Set camera settings before trying to record video!

How to install:

Special thanks to @Giovix92 for making this tutorial!

Requirements:
1: A computer with Windows.
2: An Internet connection.
3: A backup of your phone data (contacts, photo, music, videos, and other).
4: About 300 MB free space on your SD card.
5: Phone charged at least 80%.

I do NOT take any responsibility for bricked devices!

Let's start!

1: Download the Samsung USB Drivers.
2: Download the ODIN3. (Only for Windows)
3: Download the TWRP Odin package to your desktop and download the LineageOS 11 ZIP to your SD card.
4: Make a backup of your files, because the storage will be wiped. (External SD card will not be wiped)
5: Reboot your phone in to the Download mode (Volume Down- , Home- and Power button). Press the Volume Up button when asked. Then open the ODIN3 and connect your phone to your PC.
6: Press AP and choose the TWRP Odin package and make sure re-partition is NOT ticked. (whatever.tar)
7: Press start! Wait a few seconds. Then your phone will be rebooted. Now you can disconnect the cable and power off your phone.
8: Boot your phone in to the TWRP Recovery (Volume Up-, Home- and Power button).
9: Go to Wipe, and Swipe to Factory Reset.
10. After wiping go to the home screen by pressing the home button.
11: Go to Install. Choose the External SD from the top bar. (It says "Storage: Internal Storage (xxxxMB)" by default)
12: Choose the LineageOS 11 ZIP and Swipe to Confirm Flash. Make sure you don't power off while flashing!
13: After the zip has been flashed choose "Reboot System".
14: Wait 5-15 minutes to boot the phone. If the phone keeps booting take out the battery and do a Factory Reset again.
15: When the phone boots the first time, go through the Setup Wizard and you are ready to use your phone!

It's a modification based on the stock kernel. 3.4.5

With this you have to create a kernel works with multirom! In galaxy s2 plus a dev wouldn't like to create 3.4.5 kernel because he thinks he don't need and he needs a lot of time merging manually code from 3.0.101 to 3.4.5... It served a lot of time building your 3.4.5 kernel?

Samsung Galaxy Core Plus is shipped with Linux 3.4.5 kernel. This source which is we've used is stock Samsung source code with some modifications. It is almost fully stock kernel. So we hadn't waste effort and haven't took a lot of time.

Video playback is not currently working. There is some patches out there and you can try them. (remember to take backups)
You can try if MX Player works, but YouTube and other is not working atm.

It is vendor-tree issue. Not under kernel.

somehow... YouTube on CM11 does not allow 480p video playback on most video on my device GT-S7580 but CM12.1 does allow it
even you hack screen resolution to report tablet resolution to YouTube, it will allow you to play video with 720p but not 480p, idk why

In youtube you can hack the resolution with YourTube (xposed module, tested with stock rom)

Tested mx player and if u chose sw decoder it works. An idea to watch videos on utube is to put the videolink in a site for utube downloader (clipconverter.cc) and get the download link and put it on stream on mx player ) temp fix

In youtube you can hack the resolution with YourTube (xposed module, tested with stock rom)

There is a "Report Bug" tab in the CM11 Thread. Report there

Check the video patch. Then you can watch YouTube videos in 360p
