LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

redmi y1 SD 435 but i tried it for a short time and i wiped it then rolled back to miui

Meh !
Fingerprints are just less secure.
Someone can just touch your finger and phone and bamm !
Phone is unlocked.
Face Unlock is much less secure (not the blink eye unlock one ).

Nice to see lineage on this device. Thank you for your work.
Installed the ROM and so far so good. No obvious bugs except for fingerprint but I use a pin.
The brightness works but not as good as on miui. When pulling the bar to maximum it's bright but only about half of miui.
Also the network for sim2 is more unstable than on miui.
I'll keep use this ROM for now.
Thanks again to the dev for the wonderful work.
