finally can log in after 6 hours waiting for verification code. don't think going to try other rom since Los 14.1 is so perfect. any magisk module recommended?

Depends what you're looking for, device passes safety net without the need for any other module.
I myself however installed Vance Youtube module... Hate the YouTube adds ?
Maybe I'll look for a module that gives me the oreo emotions instead of these deformed ones...

I have installed some of them those claims could optimise your system, ram, wifi, battery life, and erc,.... well, so far so good, everything go well, smooth, fast, stable, can be used untill retired.

Well, not for me just yet... Pokémon Go (which is a good test for safety net) complains the game is kot compatibel with my device or os... So I still have some figuring out to do... Also would prefer to run oreo 8.1 or even Android P ?

First wipe any thing by emergency (second recovery you will see it is stock) by starting the phone with vol down so you can choose then do the discribed procedur again hope that help otherwise let me know maybe i can help you

i admit z17 lite's custom rom is much much lesser than z17 itself, and no treble support at all.
