LineageOS 16.0​

Requirements:
1) active system1
2) merged system partition
3) BRAIN, READING SKILL and presence of basic knowledge about firmware (in the absence need learn to independently)

Instruction
1) download TosForPSCI-0.1.zip
2) unzip TosForPSCI-0.1.zip
3) download recovery-03.11.2018
4) go to fastboot mode
5) execute command: fastboot flash tos your path to tos.img
6) execute command: fastboot flash recovery your path to recovery-03.11.2018.img
7) reboot to new recovery(u can execute fastboot reboot holding vol+ button)
8) if you are on previous LineageOS 16.0 build then you may install the ROM without wipes. If you're not, make full wipes then
9) install current LineageOS 16.0 build
10) reboot to the system

Excellent! Moved from 14.1 to 16.0. I have not faced any major issue. Everything is smooth. One minor issue: sound is a bit low and need to increase volume to max and that results in crackling for some content.

Getting Error Code 7 while installing on Mi Pad. Don't want to change the update-script. Any particular reason, its giving a compatibility check failure for Mi Pad? Additionally, zip verification while, installing is failing as well. Would appreciate a quick response, thanks!!!

Did you test the .zip before installing? Might be a corrupt download. Try downloading again and run 'test archive' if using 7zip.

I can say that this build is stable enough w/o any random boots ? and I know it will improve in the future; also checking your main active thread at 4PDA ?

Constantly Rebooting

The device constantly reboots without any specific reasons and gets stuck on MI logo. And I have to long press the power button to restart it completely and complete the boot. The ROM is pretty stable other than that.
The only package I installed other than Rom is the gapps package (pico). Let me know if I am missing something.

You didn't flash tos. There is no reboot issues with this rom

Well I did, and tried everything else that could be causing the problem. Even tried booting the Rom only without any google apps package. AOSP Extended with android pie seems to work fine for me now.
