How long did you test it?
After the first installation the device needs 15 Minute's to dex apps and prepare other stuff.
Afterwards it should rum smooth.
For me its much faster as it is on KitKat.

here you can find my first test version for the n8010 / n8013 on LineageOS 16.0.
At first I want to thank @forkbomb444, @rINanDO, @ChronoMonochrome and all the others who are working on the exynos 4 devices, you deserve it.

I'm working nearly every day to improve our N80xx devices and want to start with android 9 for now.
Dont be scared, all my android 7 roms will still receive security updates!

Not really, not to this level, we only can back port some features if necessary.

Doesn't tell me much, but I guess you've downloaded the zip and its not flashable, please check the md5sum or just redownload it.
If you upgrade via OTA, the zip gets checked automatically.

I could successfully install it on my N8010. So far, it runs smoothly, the S pen is working and enables me to take notes with my hand on the screen (which was an issue with another ROM). I only have minor issues with the camera. It only takes pictures with the front facing camera and so far, refuses to save the pictures taken with the back camera (which I don't mind, as I don't plan to use it anyways).
I am super impressed. Awesome job there! Thanks!

edit: For some reason, certain streaming apps are unavailable for this tablet, by any chance, do you know the cause? (the ones I could spot: Netflix, play RTS, play SRF)

So, OK. After the OTA update I finally I successfully been able to run Firefox. But Adobe Reader is still crashing. So far, I am using another PDF reader. I also have another problem now. If I am so so noon about that, please accept my apologies dear html6405. But I am having bad experience about palm rejection part. When I try to write in a taking note apps I am having trouble about writing. Because screen is detecting my palm and the pen at the same time. Is it trouble about Lineageos in general or there is something wrong? Or do I need some extra app for palm rejection? I will test more this week and if I face with an another problem I will write again. Aaaaand buy you a coffee.

Edit: Screen is glitching on the vertical mode during the on/off.

Hi, hmm there still seems to be a problem allocating ION memory for the jpeg output...
It works many times and then not, I have to rework this, you could lower the camera resolution for the mean time.

Yes, I still have to find out where the problem for adobe reader comes from.
The problem with palm rejection is in generall, that android treats both "touch screens" the same way.
It would need a big effort to disable one in code when the other is used.
The pen is already having the higher priority, but as soon there is another event from the touch detected,
it wont be ignored. If your hand wouldnt move, it would get ignored when you are working with the pen.
One thing I could do is to make a Magisk module to disable the touchscreen completely,
to enable / disable it you simply would have to do check / uncheck it and do a reboot.

Adobe acrobat reader works fine on my tablet. On the other hand, S Pen doesn't. I've used a glove to write on Slim ROM, but now somehow it detects my hand underneath it. I think this is a high priority to be fixed. Have some problems with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity when I desable and enable aeroplane mode. Fixed when I restart. Thanks

i'm always got app not installed error for specified app.. and when i contact the author of app.. he told me that it's compatible with android 5 and higher.. and i still got the same error after i installed your ROM.. then he told me that the error is belong to the kernel and i have to use kernel 4.xx

It isn't serious problem, I don't usually use aeroplane mode. Please give your effort to SPen.

I got a N8000 device, and I flashed twrp 3.4.0, N8000 binary from the initail post.

But it entered the system first then auto rebooted with a rebooting-device pop-up.

I don't know what was wrong, would you help with this?
