LineageOS 16.0 Android 9 for GT-N8000 GT-N8010 GT-N8013 GT-N8020 FINAL VERSION EOL

I now have startet from scratch, including the wipe and installing your rom for gt-n8000 and pico anew.
During the set up I can log in with my nieces account and successfully get through the parental consent.

After I agree to the data protection stuff, I get a screen with "Bleiben Sie hier, um zu erfahren, wie es weitergeht" /"Stay here to find out what's next" and a button that reads "weiter" / "continue". After I click it, it starts searching for some kind of update. This takes a few seconds and then I get an error message, that only tells me to try again later and a button for "cancel". If I click on it, I can start the set up again, but will end with the same error.

I also tried it with creating a kids-account during the set-up, which had the same results.

Edit: I also tried to first set me up as user and than additionally ad my niece as new user, same result (only difference was, it searched longer for this elusive update before the error message.

Edit #2: At "Bleiben Sie hier, um zu erfahren, wie es weitergeht" /"Stay here to find out what's next" I alway have to click "weiter" / "continue" two times. I don't know, if this is already, what derails the process.

Strange, in my case its working completely normal, I will try a second device for the kids account.

Hello, the roms I have installed work very well, but there is no midi support on any rom. I cannot choose usb midi in the developer settings. How can I activate midi in this tablet. please help

I now used your lineage 18 rom, just to test a bit. And with it, there was no problem to set-up the device.

Hi, thanks so much for this rom!

I also seem to have a problem with my keyboard/case (bluetooth 3.0).
The device is not even found when searching for it.
Other devices have no problem to connect to it.

I have also tried a logitech bluetooth keyboard which worked just fine.

What can i do to troubleshoot/provide you with info?
Could it be the bluetooth version the key to this problem? Maybe others that reported it can say which version is their devices?

I would really like to be able to use since it comes with the case..

I have GT-N8020 with TWRP 3.5 and Lineage 14 with android 7.1.2 working correctly.

When I install LineageOS 16.0 Android 9 from December 7, 2020, the tablet shows the animated Lineage boot logo, but it doesn't go away, not continuing with the installation. Installed GAPPS is ARM-> 9.0-> pico.

I tried to install the versions of previous dates, but I was not successful

How can I install your ROM?

Note: The initial ROM version of the tablet was KOT49H.n8020xxudne4

I have a problem after installing:
open_gapps-arm-9.0-pico-20210217 - the tablet shows the animated Lineage boot logo, but it doesn't go away
After uninstall - open_gapps is works fine again!
I don't no watt go's wrong...

The rom requires that you wipe, install the rom, without rebooting, install the gapps, wipe the dalvik cache then reboot. Nothing else works. Believe me, I tried. But if you follow these steps, it works exceedingly well.

the reboot took quite a while, probably the first time too fast
interrupt it.. (thought the device was hanging ...)

This one Lineage 16 seems very stable and is my everyday rom. I am interested in 18, but I am too old to chase after alphas anymore. I would have themed it differently, but this rom works for me as it is.

I've been using this ROM in my N8005 for 11-12 days. Everything seems great, but my device reboots by itself once a day. Why, I couldn't manage to find its reason. Probably coming eMMC error etc.?

Could be, but if it's still in a working condition,
you can do:

adb shell
su
cat /proc/last_kmsg

and send it to me.
Maybe something else is wrong in your case,
but the rom is stable.
