Hi. This seems great on initial impressions. Quite new to custom roms on tablets, but seemed to get my device rooted, TWRPd and ROMd OK!

However, since I've loaded this, I can't seem to connect my tablet to my pc. I get the dreaded connecting/unconnecting sound and the device no longer shows in device manager. It was working fine before the rom. The reason I'm needing to do this is because I need to install GApps.

Also, whilst on GApps - what setup should I select? I went for Arm/9/Pico but this gave an error during flashing saying it was the wrong architecture. I couldn't find anything specific in your OP.

You need to enable developer options and from there enable usb debugging

updated We update 03/09/2021, I immediately start the Gps test, after 2 minutes I lost the satellites. Zanova I install Magisk through the recovery, since it flies after the update. I change the gps.conf file to Russia. I reboot. the whole day kept satellites on average 10 out of 18. I was delighted. But the next day, the satellites began to lose again in a minute

The spen is still usable but there are no features which were available with stock so you are very limited in terms of usability and features

You can still draw with it as the pressure sensitivity still works

Hi there,

May I ask for help with installing this rom?
I bought the nt800 with the lineage-16 version preinstalled. Since I wanted no gapps i planed to reinstall.

First step was to flash the newest twrp (twrp-3.5.0_9-1-n8000.img.tar) since there was an older version installed ( I don't know which)
I followed these instructions

What I did:
I got into download mode and flashed twrp
heimdall flash --RECOVERY twrp-*.*

which was apparently successful (according to shell output and blue bar on the device).
I then disconnected usb-cable as propsed and pressed power+Volume Up and released power imediatley after the sccreen went black, I only get to see the samsung 10.1 Logo.
So I am unable to reach recovery mode.

I tried this repeatedly with variation, but no success.

(I can still boot into download mode with power + volume down)

Any Help would be very much appreciated !!

I hope your eMMC is still ok, this would be a typical behaviour.
Is your system still bootable? If yes, then just simply start directly from the system into recovery.

Hmm ok, then it maybe wouldn't be bad to flash the last stockrom again, for this you could use the frija download tool (download a 4 part firmware, for this you have to activate binary nature in the settings of frija).
If your system then still doesn't want to boot, your eMMC could be the problem.
But if it's working, then start from zero and reflash TWRP, ROM...

Unfortunately this is major weakness of AOSP ROMs for all Samsung Note devices. Versatile S Pen transforms into useless, not much functional stylus.

Disables the Wi-Fi when the phone is in sleep mode

f-droid.org

to automatically disable your wifi in sleep mode, this will improve your battery lifetime.

and finally downloaded gapps ARM -> 9.0 -> pico

Started tablet in odin mode
on PC in odin inserted in AP the downloaded TWRP removed flag on auto rebot start all ok continue
entered TWRP recovery
performed the wipes
installed lineage from external sd card
installed gapps from external sd card

restarted the system but does not perform any installation
the lineageOS animation remains fixed on the screen
how can i solve?

You need to reset your device from the recovery by pressing the power button+volume up

Ho anche provato a utilizzare TWRP 3.5.1 ma lo stesso problema
