Yes, there is only space for pico gapps on our system partition (1.3GB).
It is possible to expand the system partition if you resize data and move all partitions between.

I did this on all my devices to be able to install GSI's. (Most of them need up to 2 GB).

I you really need this, I could write a tutorial, but I still recommend pico gapps because bigger packages will slow the system down.
I could really use the tutorial please

Will aptx support come?

aptX should already work, do you have the ability to test it?

It seems update from 29.09 broke BT connectivity for N8000.
With 29.09 version :
- doesn't see saved devices in range (and obviously doesn't connect to them)
- doesn't find BT devices in range - tested for BT speakers and smartphone, it seems to be searching but doesn't find anything
- with BT on it's discoverable by other devices and cannot be connected to

Flashed 29.09 again clean after wiping all partitions - same issue.
Flashed 25.09 - no issue, BT works fine.

Thanks for your report, as it look's like the BT firmware has moved accidentally,
I will fix this.

Hi mate!

Is there a way to expand the ram with a SD card with this rom?
I will check this.

I lost wifi connectivity (to my home network) with the 25.09 update for N8010. It says first "connecting..." and then "saved".
Is this a known issue? If yes, would a recent update address the issue?

Alternatively, is it safe to "downgrade" with the zip file of the one before 25.09?

Thanks.

Alas, just now I have figured out that the internal wifi seems to be broken....I restored the Galaxy Note 10.1 to a much earlier Lineage OS update, which did not solve the wifi issues.

Is there a possibility to using an external wifi adapter?

Thanks.

Hmm this sounds like the WPA3 problem, are you sure that you're using WPA2?
Is there a possibility to using an external wifi adapter?
Not yet, but it would be theoretically possible to include wifi USB drivers in the kernel.

Hello,
It seems I made my user internal storage (/data/media) read-only for the user. I can put files there with TWRP booloader but once the system loads I cannot save anything (photos, screenshots etc.). I can install apps so /data works.

I think I wiped internal storage before flashing, them copied SW+Gapps using MTP in TWRP and flashed it.
How to I fix my internal storage now? Wiping it in TWRP doesn't change it, still read only for user.

You could try to create a logcat while the system boot's up, maybe I can see something there.

What else you could try is to fix the selinux contexts in TWRP.

I've installed the 7 Oct update and the tablet (N8010) reports it is now at that version but it is still telling me the update is ready to install. I've tried reinstalling in case there had been a problem but the situation looks just the same. If I delete the update file, it tells me I now need to download it.

Is there someway to stop the tablet telling me the update is needed when (I believe) it isn't?

Have this and stripped down to bare minimum. However recently taking ages to charge 24 hours plus. Got new charger but same. Kids use it

What could be causing this as stuck on 83% for ages

On patch level 5th Nov 2015 baseband N80000xxcll1
That's likely your battery dying. If you've never replaced the battery in your Note 10.1, it's over a decade old and even if you've taken perfect care of it, it's well past the end of it's expected life.

somehow mine still lasts 2 hours of youtube
Mine just started it's death-dive a couple months ago. A year ago I could reliably get 2 hours or so out of it, now I get between 15 and 45 minutes of power.
I've got a new Cameron Sino replacement on the way.

    Hi,

here you can find my LineageOS 16.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
At first I want to thank @forkbomb444, @rINanDO, @ChronoMonochrome and all the others who are working on the exynos 4 devices, you deserve it.

I'm working nearly every day to improve our N80xx devices and here you get a already stable version.

Here you can see what's working / not working:

    N8000, N8010, N8013, N8020:
    Boot
    Audio
    Bluetooth
    Graphics
    Cameras
    Sensors
    Wifi
    USB
    Video playback (HW/SW)
    OTA Updates
    RIL N8000, N8020
    GPS, not sure if completely
Tethering via USB, WIFI and Bluetooth
    consumerir transmitter
    • Main camera sometimes can't take a picture in full resolution, you could simply reopen the app and retry, or you lower the resolution.
    TWRP

    N8000 Rom
    N8010 / N8013 Rom
    N8020 Rom

If you're having problems with decoding some videos (blurried),
this is mostly because the avc hardware decoder gets configured wrongly.

You can disable it with my magisk module:
    avc_decoder_disabler.zip

If you are going to use Gapps,
I recommend to use the pico package!
    https://opengapps.org/
For the others, you can use microG if you want, I've enabled signature spoofing.

    Do you like my work?
Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware.

    donate

If you don't like it, reboot into recovery and type the following command:
You could use a gps.conf from https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i for your location and replace /system/etc/gps.conf.
Or you try GPS Server Optimizer app for a faster 3D fix.
For both methods you need root rights.

    Wanna improve your sound configs?
Now you can use my app to access all boeffla sound configurations.

Hey, I just installed this to n8005 and you saved me from buying a new tablet. It works beyond my expectations. This is 8+ years old device after all. You are also helping environment too. Companies should do what you are doing instead of removing chargers to protect the environment. You seriously deserve donation. Have a nice day

    I'm sorry people,
because I've created a new domain wifi related,
it made some existing rules uneffective.

I'm working hard to run selinux without any neverallow rules (I'm nearly there) to provide the best security.

To get wifi working again, type with your PC or terminal emulator:

    adb shell (only with PC)
    su
    setenforce 0

and wifi will work again, there will be another update today with the new fixes.
