No ! I do not have any.
I just checked: my stylus works a little bit if I press on it very hard.
Before deciding to buy a new one, is there a way to check that it is really the stylus that poses a problem?
Or a solution to fix it ?

The only way to check this is flashing back to stock and confirm if it's working or not.

Unfortunately no. I have no other stylus .
But glad that my old tablet is working again, I've just ordered a new one. I have to wait for its delivery now.

You could try to delete the app completely and give it a retry, nothing relevant should have changed.

I tried this and the issue is still there. Thought it might be because the media was on my external sd so I move it to the internal memory but no luck. Seems system wide that vlc has no sound. Is anyone able to test if they have the same issue on vlc.

Thank you I managed to fix it by changing the below setting in the VLC app:

settings > Extra setting > audio > advanced > Audio output > changed from Audio track to OpenSL ES

I just want to say a HUGE thank you for all the work you have done.

I just finished flashing the rom now. and was delighted that my tablet now has a good few years ahead.

I saw the message on the stock rom about youtube not being supported anymore and decided to give your rom a try.

On the sim card not detected issue, I tried the Odin flash, but that failed... I tried using adb and it also failed... so I read carefully and see you mentioned TWRP... So i rebooted in to recovery and while in recovery i ran the dd command line you posted (After compying the modem.bin to the root of the storage)... and Voila... it worked.

I'm having some troubles with streaming apps, got the graphics with green pixels on the middle and image doesn't fit very well. In some apps like Vodafone TV I can resize going to menu (square button) and returning to the app (its a TV app you can see TV channels).
Cannot use Stadia (from google) streaming games the graphics goes green in the middle and its unplayable throught streaming apps, need to try Geforce Now too... any hint or workaround?

There is a trouble at start-up. After configuring wifi, my N800 stay on "searching for updates" indefinitely...
I try to ingnored the step et check my wifi connection. Wifi is working well.

I found some informations about this trouble, but i can't find solution :

Have you any idea to solve this problem ?

• Synced with latest LineageOS sources (security patch level 05.11.2021)
• Fixed tethering
• Replaced mouse cursor with stylus icon -> use mouse cursor for pen now
• Made NetGuard support in Kernel
• Updated OpenCamera and Via browser
• N8020: some RIL fixes

Try the new version, if the problem still exists, try to use an older gapps package,
this could be the reason.

Yes it could be a problem with the gapps package, sometimes it helps to try an older bundle.
Only arm is compatible with our devices.

OK, I have no idea what went wrong there. The update package wouldn't get installed if it's corrupted.

Then I would recommend to flash the latest stock ROM to update the bootloader,
check if the device works and start from zero.

I was able to flash stock rom from here https://galaxyfirmware.com/model/GT-N8000/PRO/N8000XXSDQA3 (kitkat 4.4.2) and it booted well and worked. (I havent tested the cellular connection, but wifi can camera etc work).

Afterwards, I flashed version 3.5.2_9-1 of twrp (from https://dl.twrp.me/n8000/twrp-3.5.2_9-1-n8000.img.tar.html),
and booted into it. Afterwards, I rebooted back into the stock rom and again it worked.

Finally, I booted into twrp and installed twrp by following this guide https://lineageosroms.com/install-lineageos/. Upon rebooting, i think it auto rebooted about once or twice then showed the linage logo which eventually froze (as before).
