I wanted to ask if it is possible to increase the volume of the internal speakers? Even on max volume it is quite low.

You could try Viper4android (Magisk), but I will try to improve the volume in future builds.

Any idea to fix my latest failed attempts? Comment 103 contains the errors from me.

you try to build a kernel without earlysuspend support.

This means, that you have to overwork every driver to work without.
You also have to overwork the alarm interfaces...
Things I've already done.
It's much work to make the kernel for our devices ready, but you could do all this work by your own if you want,
or you wait for my kernel which I will publish in near future.

So far on my note N8020 it works very well and is quite smooth to use but there are minor problems such as when I tried different file exploring apps they get confused and do not show the default directories like downloads, documents, music etc and I can't find them either. Some apps do crash but I think that's normal for now. The camera though does not want to take a picture at all, it just freezes with any camera app. And you probably know this but the cursor of the s pen is a bit annoying, if possible change to a small dot or add an option to remove it entirely. Other than that everything works very well! :good:

(I've tried some from the playstore and they are all working in my case)
The camera can take pictures, you just have to lower the resolution in the open camera app.
Spen cursor will be removed in the next update.

Access to notifications does not work, because of this, the car launcher does not detect the artist in the player

Hi, first of all thnx 4 ur amazing works on our old device.
i flashed all the available roms to my n8000 several times but every time there is a problem on detecting simcard and no data in imei. even by rooting and editing the imei data nothing get better.
just return to official rom solves the problem. can u plz help me. what should i do ?

Please do not editing your imei data files...
Had you installed a recent modem? Which firmware did you had before?

I installed this ROM on my N8000, but whenever I restart the device, it asks for the PUK code instead asking for the PIN code. idk why, but that's really bad.

Ok, there could be a problem with unlocking the sim card.
Just remove the pin code in any other device and retry it.

@html6405 Look at the touchscreen, please. It works strange on all your ROMs, but perfectly on Lirokoa's Lineage. Looks like touchscreen losing my finger when swiping which cause misclicking and also hard to swipe from the edge of the screen to call app menu for example.

Never heard about this, I cant complain. Could you make a video?

I have only a few problems, which I hope you can fix from the rom: the Autodesk SketchBook program stops working at use time and shows a wait or close box and must be restarted to continue using it, then the recent item windows are very large, sometimes the wifi disconnects and stays in obtaining ip address, the volume is too low and the chorme slows down. If you would be so kind to solve those problems, I would appreciate it, crack or if you take them from the slim rom nougat and they serve it would be great good morning bro

Thank you for the excellent ROM which will potentially add a few more years of life to this great tablet. My N8000 is now newer than my phone in terms of the Android version

Couple of issues noted are the split screen issue and the low volume, both mentioned in this thread already. It would be great if you could fix the split screen as it's a very useful feature in terms of productivity, more so considering the display size. Very useful when browsing and taking notes simultaneously, for example.

Some restarts occurred while using Chrome, not frequent though.

Overall, a great ROM. Thank you once again

I'm unable to update the os through updates area in settings. It is throwing some error. Is it working for someone?

• (removed) mouse pointer for the N8020 devices

I've published them only by OTA, because I plan to bring another update tomorrow.

Accordingly to some older post (but may be I make confusion) It seemed to me that GPS should now work fine, but , even with some fix apps and leaving the tab outside under the "open sky", I can't get any signal from the sky (no problem with the stock rom).
Could you please tell me if it is still a problem to be fixed for all the version of your ROM or if ther is a tweak I can do to make it work?

Both of those apps worked fine on my other devices. and the Spen cursor removed would be quite nice though having a dot on the screen would also be nice, though that's up to you.

Really I normally use a smaller device as GPS. But I think that it could be usefull to give feedback

I'm aware that the s6 is much powerfull but with stock rom on the TAB, after 1 minutes the position was available.

If it's only me having this problem, in the next days I will try to bring the tab with me around the town in order to do a double check.

5GHz WiFi issue

at first, thank you for keeping this device up. It's my daily driver for Spotify and some web browsing.

Device is GT-N8000

I faced some similar issues while connecting to wifi as described before (Connecting... not connected)
But only with 5 GHz wifi, 2.4 works great. Since I do not need to use 5 GHz, it's no big deal for me, but might be interesting for others as well.
