Thanks for author's amazing work.

I try plugging the dock keyboard station. It seems 1. The keyboard for physical keyboard defaults to a German layout (QWERTZ layout), and cannot be changed, 2. Some keys like language switch does not work.

Any clue?

Hi,

I assume your keyboard has a german layout?
The driver decides which layout needs to be set.

Maybe you can swap the keys with a key mapper or keyboard app.

Thats mostly the typical locked ( == defective) emmc picture, it's shown because the param partition is not readable.
You could try to flash a stock ROM, in most cases the download mode still works, but it won't change anything.

It happened twice so far. It was working a min ago and now it is gone again.

Where can i find the stock ROM ?

Oh ok that's crazy, I would prepare yourself that it could stop working completely suddenly.
I would recommend to use the Frija download tool and enable the setting binary nature.

Will i install it again using odin ? If so can you tell me how ?

This is the only screen that is not messed up right now.

Yes, you can use all instructions for Samsung devices how to flash,
it's nearly the same process.

But you just have to load in Odin the AP, BL, CP and CSC files from the ROM package.

There was no CP file in the zip that was downloaded with Frija.

It says there is no PIT partition.

Thats normal if you have a wifi version.
The error "there is no pit partition" cries also for a locked eMMC.

This means, your memory is EOL and needs to get replaced, I'm sorry.
I'm still doing these things as a professional, there is about every month a n80xx device to fix.

I want to know how to fix my Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 n8000 ....I believe it has hard bricked...I installed you custom ROM via Odin and Twrp but I don't know what transpired when I gave it to my little cousins. I met on a fixed boot screen...got into download mode but have tried flashing stock rom to no avail

There's a setting for the physical keyboard language, under:

System -> Languages & Input -> Physical keyboard -> sec_keyboard

What's set there?

Hey @html6405 I got a notification today to upgrade from this ROM to your 15.04.2022 build of LineageOS 18.1

It's never come up as an upgrade in the Lineage updater before, is this an intentional change?

Try to flash a 4 part firmware (you can get it with the frija download tool, enable binary nature in the settings).

Yes, this is just a reminder, that the support for LOS 16.1 ran out and you could directly download the 18.1 version (copy the link) if you want to upgrade manually.

Gotcha. Probably gonna jump right to LOS19 at some point but for now everything is pretty stable and works great on 16.

BTW, I will publish updated kernel versions with boeffla sound support,
if someone want's to use it.
But this will be the last update from my side.

• Re-Implemented boeffla sound and uploaded new boot images, just download and flash them directly in TWRP (Install->Install Image->boot.img->Boot->Swipe to confirm Flash)
• N8000 & N8005
• N8010 & N8013
• N8020

If so, that's awesome!
It's a cool kernel that only worked on the stock
