The Lineage version does not matter as much as the config.
I’ve used CyanogenMod 13 (Marshmallow), Lineage OS 14.1 (Nougat) - up to Android 10.
What kernel and scheduler you use, the version of GApps (if any - when it comes to GApps I always use OpenGapps Pico), and how everything is configured typically makes more of a difference.
Currently though I have Lineage OS 14.1 (with CMTE ported over) on my Moto E LTE. I have the same Lineage OS version also on my higher spec Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport… but the Moto E LTE is faster as it has a better custom overclocked kernel, no GApps, and is tuned to get better performance (overclocked CPU and GPU, Lionfish governor, Deadline scheduler, adaptive LMK, etc.).
The S5 Sport basically has no custom kernels, so I have to use the built-in one. It runs slower.
I think I've solved my problem. I completely removed all the Magisk modules, removed the Magisk itself, and only after that I flashed kernel 3.4 and Magisk 25.2.
Now I don't have the problems I described above, the kernel on LOS16 behaves obediently
I don't know if it's useful, in my experiments I tested the 3.4 kernel and the latest 3.0.x kernel with Boeffla tweaks on your firmware, based on 7.1.2. They don't work there, the system doesn't start, which is not surprising. But it would be fun.

Hi,
here you can find my LineageOS 16.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
At first I want to thank @forkbomb444, @rINanDO, @ChronoMonochrome and all the others who are working on the exynos 4 devices, you deserve it.
I'm working nearly every day to improve our N80xx devices and here you get a already stable version.
Here you can see what's working / not working:
N8000, N8010, N8013, N8020:
Boot
Audio
Bluetooth
Graphics
Cameras
Sensors
Wifi
USB
Video playback (HW/SW)
OTA Updates
RIL N8000, N8020
GPS, not sure if completely
Tethering via USB, WIFI and Bluetooth
consumerir transmitter
Main camera sometimes can't take a picture in full resolution, you could simply reopen the app and retry, or you lower the resolution.
If you are going to use Gapps,
I recommend to use the pico package! https://opengapps.org/
For the others, you can use microG if you want, I've enabled signature spoofing.
Do you like my work?
Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware. donate
You could use a gps.conf from https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i for your location and replace /system/etc/gps.conf.
Or you try GPS Server Optimizer app for a faster 3D fix.
For both methods you need root rights.
Bought new battery but it seems still having battery drains when powered off. Full charged > Turned off > left for a day > turn on > battery gors down to 65%.
Anyone having this too?
I dont know how to check the cause when its turned off.

If you're using the most recent version of my LineageOS 16 you shouldn't have any battery drain while powered off.
In earlier versions it could exist, because the charging animation freezed,
but this is already fixed.

Hi, yes i'm using the most recent release.
Currently i am trying to remember all modification/upgrades i've done and try to revert them. Will report back when succeded.
@html6405 Thank you so much for your work on this!!!
My N8000 works like a dream again.
After testing your LineageOS 20 ROM and being very happy with it, and grateful for your work. Due to games crashing maybe 3 times per hour (and scrcpy not working) I thought I'll try this ROM. And WOW, it's amazing thus far.
Current test
LineageOS 16.0 ROM on N8000 with MicroG and Magisk 24.1, it runs like an absolute dream so far, for the few hours that I've tested it, buttery smooth, stable. scrcpy works beautifully and fast.
why is internal storage (/sdcard or /storage/emulated/0/...) not accessible by default after a clean install? almost every app does not work correct due to this issue, heck not even the built-in file browser recognizes internal storage at first start.
still anytime installing a new app needs the tablet manually put into a reboot to recognize the storage with all needed permissions (e.g. fx file explorer, apk extractor, and others)
html, have you skipped some essential final programming somehow?
That's likely your battery dying. If you've never replaced the battery in your Note 10.1, it's over a decade old and even if you've taken perfect care of it, it's well past the end of it's expected life.
Mine just started it's death-dive a couple months ago. A year ago I could reliably get 2 hours or so out of it, now I get between 15 and 45 minutes of power.
I've got a new Cameron Sino replacement on the way.

Hey, I just installed this to n8005 and you saved me from buying a new tablet. It works beyond my expectations. This is 8+ years old device after all. You are also helping environment too. Companies should do what you are doing instead of removing chargers to protect the environment. You seriously deserve donation. Have a nice day
