Thanks!
oh, i think there was an older version in the thread for gt-n8020 but the headphone jack wasnt working
if you dont want a new kernel you could install magisk 24.1
sorry, i was wrong, the updated kernel is only for gt-n8000 and gt-n8010, there is no n8020 versionDo not waste time with this, but if you manage to remember which was the thread, I will be grateful. Meanwhile, I think I will be able to manage using 24.1
Regards
Were did you get the file from? Can't find it. ...@html6405 Thank you for excellent job! Lineage 16.0 works fantastic on my N8010! I flashed it myself for the first time and everything works better then expected, stable and fluid.
Just wanted to tell the others who are interested that the device is fast with (original) battery lasting for hours of video. The device shows that it is certified. YouTube works, Netflix and HBO MAX also. I have downloaded Sketchbook and FlipaClip to try S-pen and it works without problem. Regarding stream TV video apps I have noticed that some channels have broken picture if the battery is on the power saving mode.
The only problem I have encountered so far is that some channels at our local TV streaming app MAXTV2GO (developed by T-com) have broken picture, like the tiles with horizontal lines (probably some codec issues?). Other channles on the same app work fine, and the third work good if the battery saving mode is turned off...
Never mind, already found it. Wish me luck lol....

Hi,
here you can find my LineageOS 16.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
At first I want to thank @forkbomb444, @rINanDO, @ChronoMonochrome and all the others who are working on the exynos 4 devices, you deserve it.
I'm working nearly every day to improve our N80xx devices and here you get a already stable version.
Here you can see what's working / not working:
N8000, N8010, N8013, N8020:
Boot
Audio
Bluetooth
Graphics
Cameras
Sensors
Wifi
USB
Video playback (HW/SW)
OTA Updates
RIL N8000, N8020
GPS, not sure if completely
Tethering via USB, WIFI and Bluetooth
consumerir transmitter
- Main camera sometimes can't take a picture in full resolution, you could simply reopen the app and retry, or you lower the resolution.
TWRP
N8000 Rom
N8010 / N8013 Rom
N8020 Rom
If you're having problems with decoding some videos (blurried),
this is mostly because the avc hardware decoder gets configured wrongly.
You can disable it with my magisk module:
avc_decoder_disabler.zip
If you are going to use Gapps,
I recommend to use the pico package!
https://opengapps.org/
For the others, you can use microG if you want, I've enabled signature spoofing.
Do you like my work?
Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware.

- adb shell (or use TWRP's terminal)
- bash /data/param_restore.sh
- reboot
- Uploaded a prepared package to build your own boot picture
You could use a gps.conf from https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i for your location and replace /system/etc/gps.conf.
Or you try GPS Server Optimizer app for a faster 3D fix.
For both methods you need root rights.

Hi html6405 and folks, First of all thanks for the amazing work and I'm sorry but I didn't get to read every single change log and 93 pages to find if somebody is facing the same issue, so let me tell what is going on...Hi,
here you can find my LineageOS 16.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Hello, I have the same problem, I have loaded the modem.tar without being able to solve it, I tried going back to the version of the original operating system of the tablet and the card works fine and reads the imei of the tablet without problem,Hi html6405 and folks, First of all thanks for the amazing work and I'm sorry but I didn't get to read every single change log and 93 pages to find if somebody is facing the same issue, so let me tell what is going on...
I just got an used N8000 with a 7.1.2 Nougat installed and noticed that the SIM CARD isn't working. So, by doing a little search I found out, that it was due Nougaut/Modem that wouldn't work. So, I found somewhere somebody telling to upload a modem.tar via Odin via CP oprion, but when I tried it I got FAIL message, so I gave up and installed the LineageOS 16.0 and later 18.0 where the issues remains for all versions such as:
- Not recognizing SIM card (No SIM card);
- not informing IMEI @ about.
- ...
So I'm wondering if somebody is getting to use N8000 3G with the SIM card after updating to any of these OS?
I mean, if so, certainly I'll have to replace the SIM card slot, but before going to it, I was trying to make sure it isn't an OS issue.
I have tried to find the original OS or 4.1.2 Jeally Bean to downgrade, but didn't find any thread or download file working to use. Any reply and help will be appreciated.
Thanks and have a great weekend to you all,
Cheers.
Hi c-ale. Yup, I went back to KitKat 4.4.2 and the SIM/Imei worked back too and I gave up too trying to find the modem fix. So, until now I didn't find any mode fix for the newer versions. By the way, did you get to upload the modem.tar without fail? How did you get it? I mean, I just used Odin, Checked only CP and selected the file, but got Fail. Not sure if needed to upload other files together. Well, for those that are trying to download in 2023 the Kitkat 4.4.2 for free because sammobile is paid or other need login or premium status (paid too) I got it from samfw.com No payment and no registration needed.Hello, I have the same problem, I have loaded the modem.tar without being able to solve it, I tried going back to the version of the original operating system of the tablet and the card works fine and reads the imei of the tablet without problem,
I also tried to install the different versions of lineage os that there are for the N8000 and the same thing happens with all of them, so I stopped trying and only use it connected to Wi-Fi.
Did you get to fix your and make the SIM card be recognized?
What is the TWRP you're talking about and where to download it and in which field shoud I select such as BL, AP, CP, CSC, to select the file modem.bin to be uploaded? I had tried before just into the CP field the file modem.tar (nit .bin), but got error FAIL. The file modem.tar does work for any Android/Lineage version?
Once i flashed N8000 rom to my N8000 tablet. Never tried the sim card because 3G network was terminated by govt.Hello, I have the same problem, I have loaded the modem.tar without being able to solve it, I tried going back to the version of the original operating system of the tablet and the card works fine and reads the imei of the tablet without problem,

Hi to all, i have a big problem with lineageOS installation on my GT-N8020.
Ty for reply! It sounds like you have tried everything except formatting the System partition.
Did you follow these instructions?
In TWRP, you have to choose Wipe and pull “Swipe to Factory Reset”, afterwards choose again Wipe->Advanced Wipe, choose System and pull “Swipe to Wipe”.
