Hey, dear Reujea0. Would you mind if I ask you about Los 18.1? Is there any possibility of seeing it soon, depending on your previous messages mentioning about building it already?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks for your efforts.

Hello, sorry, I haven't had time to really look into hte building of it, had some issues but did not really investigate them, os I did not make any progress. Right now, the build is at 94% completed, will test it and if it works will publish it tonight. You can quote me on that.

If I end up publishing los18 for hte phone, I will stop providing OTAs for Los17. Also I have decided that I will require a clean flash of los18 and not provide it as an OTA upgrade from los17. This way many issues around migration should be solved

I could use some help. I flashed the image to my phone, but screen stays black after reboot from Recovery.
What i did so far was as followed:

1. Went to options in the normal system, enabled developer mode and usb debugging.
2. Reboot to fastboot and used the command "fastboot oem unlock"
3. This cause a factory reset, i wen again to the options and did step 1 again
4. Entered fastboot again and booted the twrp image
5. flashed twrp on the phone as written here (exept the Magisk part):
6. Reboot into recovery, everything nice till here
7. Wiped the phone and installed you latest linageos version
8. If i reboot now into recovery, the lineage recovery appears. If i reboot into system, first the android 1 screen appears and afterwards screen keeps black.

I dont know what to do anymore. What did i do wrong? There wasn't any issues during flash of OS...
Thanks in advance!

EDIT: When i boot the twrp recovery via fastboot again and from there normal reboot recovery i get the LineageOS recovery.

Which twrp do you use? If you used "dees-troy" as the step 5 suggest you to do, that may be the only reason of your problems.
Please use either offain twrp or there are newer ones that you can find on xda. I recommend you to use this;

Hi,

thanks for the quick answer. No, actually i use the "twrp-3.5.0_9-1-daisy-unofficial"

The problem is, there are 20 tutorials how to install and with that 20 different ways. Every tutorial missing out essential parts and i'm a little confused.

Okay than you miss the reboot to recovery step I guess.

Now as you use the correct twrp, I can say, after doing step 7, do what I say. (At step 7, you should also install twrp.installer)

Step 8- go back. And then press reboot. Change slot( if you're at slot 'a', press slot 'b'. Vice versa)
Step 9- now press reboot to recovery.
Step 10- if you will install gapps and magisk, you can do it very now.
Step 11- reboot the system.

Is the flashing prozess of TWRP even right? Do i have to flash it via install or via ADB sideload? Or is that the same?

EDIT: The way you suggest doesn't work either. I switched and afterwards rebooted the system. Screen stays black. But the phone is acually on, because PC tells me something is connected.

I install it within TWRP, never used sideload.

I mean installing TWRP, or does that even matter? Because after i flashed LineageOS the recovery comes from the OS, not TWRP anymore. Maybe the bootloader is damaged, because i did something wrong?
Also do i have to do the Encryption? One guid says yes, the other doesn't mention it.

MAybe an important hint is that i upgrade from stock Android ONE. Maybe thats the problem?

Let me sum up the process which will probably answer your all questions.

Once you opened the bootloader and flashed TWRP image successfully and saw TWRP screen on your phone, unplug it from PC.

IF you will install a custom rom, than
1- format data, type 'yes'. Reboot to recovery
2- advaanced wipe( everyting except sd card) (ı assume you should have put custom rom file and twrp.installer.zip to your sd card)
3- install custom rom and twrp.installer.zip(choosing to upload from your sdcard, you will be able to see them)
4- go back. Press "reboot" but don't reboot anything. From reboot menu, change slot(if you're at slot 'a', change your slot to 'b', vice versa)
5- now you can press reboot to recovery.
6- once recovery(twrp) opens, you can install gapps and magisk.
7- reboot the system.

Some roms require forced encrptions, you can follow what the builder of rom says.

Nope, it has nothing to do with coming from stock rom. It's actually indeed recommended.

I have some previous experience building rom from the WIko Wax and the Huawei P8.

I run the Xiaomi A2 Lite as my daily driver, so I can't afford to test this ROM.

I do not know if this will even boot. As I said, I need you members of this forum to test this and tell me what works and the ROM's performance.

This ROM is based on LineageOS 17.1, so that is Android 10.

With a bit of luck this should work out of the box. It is here, that I should thank the pople from the Team Potato here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/development/10-0-posp-v3-q-daisy-t4011191 They are the ones who made most of the work to bring Android 10 to this device. I have just modified it a bit. Once again, props to them.

And here are the links to the different versions:

    Always latest url: https://github.com/a-huk/otaserver/releases/download/09/lineage-17.1-20201115-UNOFFICIAL-daisy.zip

It is a zip, I suppose that it will be possible to flash it through TWRP, just clean flash as much as possible. I am not responsible for any harm this may do to your devices.

Again, please only post with feedback on the ROM, logcats would be useful as well or some benchmarks. I would like to make this stable and if possible official with Lineage. I know this forum is a mess, but again it is only for development. I will make propper one if this ever works. I need testers, thanks in advance. And props to the Potato Team

OK 0.5 is out. This should be working fine, even OTAs will appear, for now only one ota will appear, but it is the same version as 0.5. It will download fine (a bit slow cuz running on a hoe broadband, but will download), when hitting install it will crash, you can still long press it and export, it will be in the internall memory and flash it with twrp (offain version). If everything works fine I will release it as unnoficial 1.0. Then I will start looking into getting it official and microG. But it should run as well as a official build
    13
Ok, V0.8 is out, normally everything is working so that I can start making my way to official. For those that use gapps, I recommend BitGapps as they seem more stable than the usual open gaaps. In a week or two I will try and push a build with microG as well as get official. Lmn if something is not working

First sorry for the long wait/silence. I have had some things come up. With that said, I think that the ROM is a pretty good shape (many thanks to lacia-chan). So expect a new build in a couple of hours. It should have a working OTA system. More details to follow
    8
Ok v0.9 is out. This should be the final version as nothing should break. Even OTA is working, camera is fixed. Please test it out. If this works it will be the first "official" (unofficialà Los17 build I will put out - meaning that dev phase has ended.
