I was not successful in installing the Rom on the N8000, it just stays on the boot screen and does not start the system.

Thanks, but it's still buggy, but we are on the right way.
Update 24.12.2020:
enable magisk hide and delete the PlayStore data in app settings.
After another reboot apps like Netflix etc will become downloadable again.

- prepared a prerooted kernel for you

Try the version from today and if the problem still exists,
make a logcat and send it to me.
I only have one n8000 and there it is booting fine.

installed android 11 on N8000! Very cool! But wifi is very slow! How to fix it? How do I install GooglePlay? Thank you
I have installed the newest version and root img with no problems. I noticed the default max cpu at 1600 and have been stable longer than before. Nice work. I did get one reboot , so far, but I will continue to test. At least I'll be able to set the CPU lower if I need to...

Wifi speed should work normaly, in my case and with my router I'm getting full speed.
For google PlayStore functionality you have to flash BitGapps!
Only issue I found thats not been mentioned so far:
After leaving it on to charge over night, I had really really bad image retention, esspecially around the edges.
But that is completely gone after a reboot.

Pretty strange, we had this also in LOS16, it's noted.
To all:
If you update via OTA (what should work now), you have to flash BitGapps afterwards if you had installed them,
otherwise it wont boot...
i cant install bitgaps! file for xiaomi gives error. there is nothing on the first link. tell me where to download and how to install google services. I can't do anything. N8000

OTA itself is already working fine, the only bad thing is,
that we have to reflash BitGapps by our own, otherwise it wont boot through!
Mic is working fine in a phone call, but you are right, there seems to be a problem in app usage,
I guess that I have to fix the audio route, many things have changed in Android 11.

At first I want to thank @forkbomb444, @rINanDO, @ChronoMonochrome for all your work which helped me a lot to bring this up.
This is a early BETA build, so don't install it if you want a completley stable rom and don't report my already listet bugs!
I'm working nearly every day on our N80xx devices, because LOS18 runs much smoother than LOS17.1, I will continue here.
When you have BitGapps installed, you have to reflash them after every update!

If you are going to use Gapps,You could use a gps.conf from https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i for your location and replace /system/etc/gps.conf.
Or you try GPS Server Optimizer app for a faster 3D fix.
For both methods you need root rights.

LOS 16.0 is our major version, on LOS18.1 is much more work todo and much more framework hackings to get LOS18.1 as good compatible as possible.
I'm overtaking many things I make for LOS16.0 to 18.1, but this take's time.
I hate it if I get stressed, so please be patent or do it by your own,
this takes really much time, debugging, try things and so on.
