Hi. first of all thank you for giving another life to our device.
i'm not sure if this is a noob question but i'm having trouble with the screen orientation. i have set the orientation to portrait and locked it, but when the screen turns off and on again, it returns to landscape mode. i have experienced this too with lineage 16. is this a thing with newer android versions?

i tried adding

ro.sf.hwrotation=90

to the build.prop but it didnt work. tried other values as well.

while browsing the build.prop i noticed there where two lines of

ro.config.low_ram

one set to true and the other one set to false

This prop was removed after android 7 what I know.
I would have to set
SF_PRIMARY_DISPLAY_ORIENTATION
to a different value to enforce the portrait mode.

You could try to set:
ro.surface_flinger.primary_display_orientation=90

one set to true and the other one set to false

It's overriden with false by me, otherwise PIP and multi user support wouldn't be present.

Thanks. I thought I can just download magisk manager apk and install it as apk. Was strange to me that I had to rename it to zip and install via TWRP.

It was a hard way to get there, everything should work completely equal than it did before,
please test it very well.

many thanks for this rom. I have the GT-N8000 Tab, but I don't use the 3G, I use only Wifi. Is it possible I can also use/install the rom only for Wifi Tab (GT-N8010)?

At present I have install your last Rom of 2021-04.28 for GT-N8000. For GT-N8010 you have a newer rom online.

Happened to me a couple of times when powering off it just turned back on by itself amongst some other random reboots, one of the bugs in this ALPHA builds I guess!

Yes, this weird bug was already reported recently, I still have no idea why this happens.
