Hi folks,

First of all a big thank you for your work here, I did a clean install last night (TWRP + Full Wipe) of the 11/02 + nikgapps (full) + magisk. Overall I am elated to move away from MIUI to a clean Android OS.

Saw two issues, one I have seen mentioned.

* No SD card +1 - It comes up with a message detecting the SD card and tries to 'fix' it. It formats it but it's not visible in the OS. Soon after it prompts again to 'fix' it.
* Enabling encryption put me into a boot loop - Reboots to password prompt but loops before you can type anything. No keyboard comes up.
(Had to reflash to get out of that one)

Otherwise using/watching happily!

Yeah, but apparently LOS 18.0 beta doesn't.
I tried LOS 18.0 (beta) without gapps first and it would bootloop after reaching the home-screen. Flashing gapps would solve the issue (for me) but I don't use gapps so ... I went back to LOS 17.1.
I also experienced the issue with the sdcard not being properly detected.

Update new rom 01 Nov (see 1st for the link) :
- Fix bootloop
- Some update from source
- Fix sdcard format issue (???) Please test it as I dont have the sdcard.

I just tried 20201104, but it still bootloops without NikGapps.

Apart from that, I'm glad to see it uses the MIUI camera, since it has Panoramic mode and the Lineage Snap camera doesn't. Unfortunately the Panoramic mode doesn't work on this build, it doesn't detect that the device is being moved. Maybe a gyro/sensor problem with the ROM? Auto screen rotation does work correctly.

Bitgapps work with this rom. It still has a problem with sdcard though.

It also works with the NikGapps, just to emphasize, it bootloops when no Gapps of any sort are installed.

Thanks for the reply. I also use Open Camera, but the Panoramic mode is not anywhere near as good as the MIUI camera. Open Camera only allows for 10 photos to be stitched together, and it makes me rotate the device at a strange angle. Panoramic mode in the MIUI camera works fine with LineageOS 17 and CarbonROM (based on LineageOS 17), so it must just be a bug at this stage of the LineageOS 18 development.

• Updated to Android 11.0.0_r17 with November security patches.
• Upstream updates and fixes.
• LineageOS features updates.

try a different browser or a different system , try changing to desktop mode. link works from all my devices

Upgraded from LineageOS 17.1 after factory reset. With TRWP 3.4 NikGApps caused bootloop but Bitgapps worked with this rom.

Install Magisk v21.0 for Root, other versions don't work.

No issues with SD card. Icon sizes a bit small waiting for upgraded Lineage icon app.

Sofar everything works fine on my MI Pad 4. Quite a bit snappier than 17.1. Battery performance still good after 2 years.

Hello, I'd appreciate if anyone who installed this would reply.
1. Has anyone migrated to this ROM from Floko 3.0 for clover? How has the experience on the LOS been?
2. I'd like to stick with the OpenGapps, has anyone used OpenGapps with this?

Finally a question for OP, @sabar_op -- are you planning to submit your patches to official LOS tree and maintain this device if accepted?

Hi! Unfortunately this thread doesn't qualify to be in the cross device development forum as the OP is just sharing the ROM and not the one who compiled it. Plus development threads need to be GPL compliant, which this thread is not. Hence I moved it here.
