there is a problem when the sd is linked and the phone appears without space and without the possibility of entering to see the storage and not being able to download anything.

I found 2 issue:

1. not working transfer files by BT from one to another Android device (and nearby devices not see other devices also)

2. not working transfer phone screen to TV (app system crash)

Hi everyone,

I was on 18.1 and I did a full wipe to install 19. Everything works fine, thanks a lot Ivan!

I just have two questions:

1. Are you able to install Netflix app? I get an error saying that my device is not supported (by installing with play store or by downloading apk).
2. Is it normal that we can't change the yellow theme color? :)

Why Play Store dont show in "search" Revolut app and some other apps? But when we redirect to PS from webpage it says THIS APP IS NOT SUPPORTED ON THIS DEVICE. Is there Ny chance to fix this?

I know we can install APK from apkmirror or simillar sites but os there any chance to install it directly from Play Store? (Revolut)

Hi BoNt3k,

I guess we have the same problem (I can't install Netflix with "not supported device" error).
I think that is because the "Play Protect Certification" is not valid on Play Store.

The only solution I found is get the Netflix .apk and use Magisk Hide to be able to start the app. Everything is working ok now.

Maybe we just have to wait for the next release for a fix.

bye

Greetings, I want to firstly say a huge thanks to the developer for making this build! I'm new to flashing but wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing disabled SELinux and public signature. Please excuse me if I'm missing something obvious.

Just finish installing this new build and complete my configuration.

Everything seems to run smoothly.

So far, I only found one bug. Button (re)mapping doesn't seem to work.

Settings->System->Buttons

What I usualy do is change the HOME button Long Press to "Recent apps switcher" and the RECENT button short press to "Open/close menu" , also, the backlit is not working as well.

Netflix from Aurora Store works, I can download, install, login and play videos. No Play Protect problems etc.

There seems to be an issue with build.prop. I increased volume steps there, restarted and nothing has changed. The same method is working in LineageOS 18.1.
Funny, for me it stopped working in LOS18.1, I had to use the magisk props module to get my LOS18.1 working. Maybe try that with LOS19?

Hi,

Install Magisk and enable MagiskHide.
Then tick all "Google Play Services" options in MagiskHide app detail.

Reboot device might be necessary.

Then you should get Safety Net validation + Play protect Certification both OK
Which version of Magisk should I use, I've heard that version 23 has removed Hide, so should I install version 22?

Are you sure you use the right version of TWRP ? This is extremely important !
It should be .....or...... img.tar....... or........ .img...make a choice ! and first take a look at twrp.me

    Download Links:

    International & Canada (SM-G930F, SM-G930FD, SM-G930X, SM-G930W8):

    Primary (Americas)
I did install the latest TWRP from the official site beforehand, 3.6 or something? and its teh international europe one, i think

Here it is: initially installed `twrp-3.5.0_9-0-herolte.img.tar` and then updated to `twrp-3.6.0_9-0-herolte.img` through recovery

    Can't install Netflix app

    (Not for your Device)
That's safetynet issue, Google play store not certified. Banking apps probably don't work either .

Install magisk, and enable magisk hide.. then you probably need to clear data of Google play services.

There are tons of threads about this. It's the same for almost any custom ROM for any device.

    Hi,
Is the ROM lineage-19.0-20220118-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip right for my Galaxy S7 SM-G930F?
    ...next...
    Should I install BiTGApps-arm64-11.0.0-R44_signed.zip or BiTGApps-arm-11.0.0-R44_signed.zip?

Well here we go quite a big update mid week (covid hit me so i had more time to mess with s7 instead of doing actual work haha)
Anywya here is a brief changelog
    - Enabled selinux (Its enforcing now)
    - Moved audio hal to vendor
    - Fixed confirmation dialog box for button backlight
    - Fixed ok button which would go missing for button backlight
    - Switched to source built secril_config_svc (used for ds detection)

there are quite a bit of changes this time around, biggest being that selinux is now enforcing once again.
Once again big thanks to everyone who supported this project so far as their donation help cover the build server cost and get me a coffee.
There might be few more updates in the coming days if i find anything device side that needs improvements as i have to stay home anyway so might as well do something productive

enjoy new build and stay safe
    14
Oh hey happy new year everyone, so heere go some progress updates
Next build will have working button backlight options as commit is ready on lineage gerrit there will also be quite a lot of lineage features merged
Ill probably wait few more days till google releases January 2022 security update so i can push new build with it included, other than that there are a few small device side improvements like added back renderscript support, Big thanks to everyone who supported this project so far as they helped kep this project up 5 years after s7's release

Just wipe Cache and Dalvik. TWRP offers that automatically after install is finished.

I always install rom+gapps+magisk, but I think gapps and magisk actually have addon scripts so they will survive updating and reflash is not actually necessary? But it's so easy to add the zips to queue and that method has always worked. :)

@Ivan_Meler this is an excellent ROM. You should push this to official status, I can't see how this ROM is any worse than the official LineageOS versions? And enjoy your coffee. :)
There are some issues preventing it from going official mainly the fact we are using some hals compiled from Samsungs Exynos 8890 BSP source which is not public, and lineageos doesnt allow use of non public bsp source officially sadly

So, after two weeks of running my S7 with LOS 19 as a daily driver here are some thoughts:
    1. The OS is smooth as butter. No glitches no problems with UI, phone doesn't hang.
    2. Battery life is awesome given it's not a new phone (1,5 days on one charge! That's better than my iPhone SE 2020 on iOS 15.3)
    3. Phone calls quality is great, no echoing, sound is clear both on my end and on the caller's
    4. The camera app seems to be quite laggy, but I installed another one and all is fine (not a big issue given I don't shoot with phone that often)
    5. One drawback is that I can't configure GPay (rooted/modified phone but maybe someone has a solution for that) but still I do carry my wallet with me so...
    6. Apart from the one above all apps run perfectly fine no problems with notifications.

All in all thanks to this update I really start to think about ditching iPhone as a daily driver, and keep it as a device for testing iOS apps at work, and coming back to Android. Thank you very much @Ivan_Meler for this ROM.

    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

    -

Keep in mind that some LineageOS features have not been completed yet this is not a device bug and please do not report those
in this rom thread, also do not post bug reports for known issues or bug reports without proper
    a) Logcat
    b) proc/last_kmsg (or proc/kmsg)
    c) data/tombstones
    d) dmesg

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)
NikGapps, BiTgapps and FlameGapps were tested and working tho BitGapps and FlameGapps performed better due to more up to date packages

Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12 support
