As i do not know what was previosly on you phone....
Clean install is missing! TWRP > Wipe > Advanced Wipe > System
Not sure if a reboot is needed before Magisk install.
To make it easy i would recommend to install Magisk later (after first boot).
Use Latest TWRP
If the Problem persists try to install NikGapps-core first to see if its running at all.
You may later dirty flash again lineage with NikGapps arai version.
Hope this helps

There we are, I actually made the jump to 19.1.
Once again you rock Ivan, once again a donation for your amazing work! ;)

I was kind of worried to get everything right with Magisk, etc. For those facing the same doubts, here is what I did and everything went flawlessly (including banking apps):
- Update TWRP to "twrp-3.6.1_9-0-herolte.img
- Wipe everything except the SD card (Yes please, clean install)
- Flash both "lineage-19.1-20220510-UNOFFICIAL-herolte.zip" + "NikGapps-core-arm64-12.1-20220413-signed.zip"
- Boot and use the phone for a bit
- Install Magisk 24.1
- In Magisk app click "Systemless hosts" so AdAway app is working.
- In Magisk app click "Hide Magisk Manager" to rename the app
- Again in the Magisk app enable Zygisk + Enforce DenyList + Configure DenyList (tick the app like your banking apps)
- Reboot
- In Magisk app got to the module tab and flash "safetynet-fix-v2.2.1.zip" from the link provided by Ivan in this post

You should be good to go. If you tried to launch your banking apps and got Magisk detected before all this, wipe the data of you banking app and launch it again.

Hello @All,
one of the nice options in LOS was the extended restart. Obviously it doesn't exist anymore or I can't find it. Is this option really gone or is it coming back?

Go to:
System -> Buttons -> Power menu
Tick "Advanced restart"
Done!

Maybe a clean install will fix it. I have had it multiple times stuff just didn't work until I did a clean install.

Also keep in mind Ivan still has a day job besides this. he still does this in his free time. so if he doesn't respond he is probably busy working.

Hi guys!
The ROM is very excellent, everything works on it!
Thank you very much for the developers.
There is only one problem.
The voice calls quality is worse than with the stock rom. The calls voice distorted.
If I have an incoming call, an older computer speaker starts crackling.
I have not experienced such phenomena before I used the original samsung stock rom.
If you know anything about this please help!

Hi!
This ROM is not your choice if you wish quality voice as stock firmware has.

No solution and no chance to fix it as who claims of bad voice are small part of all S7 users.
The most say that have no such problem. To be honest I don't believe them, as hardware part is the same.

Fix bluetooth

1-install root explore and grant root accept
2-download Bluetooth file (click to bluetooth)
3-extract bluetoot.zip
4-open root explore copy bluetooth folder In the storage to efs folder
5-reboot and enjoy

    Here we go, March security update is here.
    LineageOS 21 builds wont get update this time around as new qpr is still being merged and fixed up
    There were a lot of changes from google in their quarterly platform update soboth LineageOS codebase
    and some device changes are needed for it to be on par with previous builds.

    There will be april builds for it soon so it made no sense to push half baked update today.

    As always huge thanks to everyone who donated to help cover the build server cost.

    Keep in mind that some LineageOS features have not been completed yet this is not a device bug and please do not report those
    in this rom thread, also do not post bug reports for known issues or bug reports without proper
    a) Logcat
    b) proc/last_kmsg (or proc/kmsg)
    c) data/tombstones
    d) dmesg


    Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)

    Make sure gapps you decide to use support android 12L/12.1/Are targetting api level 32
    Also make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12 support

    If you want to use Magisk use latest Magisk Beta (25.0) or Magisk 24.1, there is bug in 24.3 that was fixed after its release that prevents zygisk from working on some devices with 3.18 kernel

    here it is August security update
    Nothing major in this one as i am still working behind the scenes on that huge update i talked about previously which involves rewrite of almost whole graphics and media stack (its almost finished but i still have to do a bit more testing just to make sure there is no regression)

    In other news android 13 should be released next month and since there were no major changes s7 should be running it soon after release with not too many issues and ill try to take a few days off from work to get it up and running on it once source is out

    Im aware of Seedvault issue curently present and im working on a fix for it.
    I wanted to release something as a gift from me to everyone using this rom and supporting this project throughout the years. Keeping older phones alive and up to date is really fun hobby and I don't think I would've kept doing it if it wasnt for all of the support from the comunity.

    Thanks to this s7 should live for few more android releases without any major issues. and Android 12 will get even better with new hals that are curently in developement
