LineageOS 19.1 (Android 12L) [Signature Spoofing][OTA updates] for S8/S8+/Note8

This rom looks very good. I switched from Havoc-OS and this one seems much better. Just the handsfree doesn't work for me. Can anyone advise?
Dirty flashed the new new update and works great on my S8 plus like always, get better soon brother.
Here are some parameters for gpio_keys.kl - Key 703 (Bixby button) / How to remap Bixby button in Lineage os 18.0:
APP_SWITCH - Recent apps button
ASSIST - Google Assistant (with item display on the screen)
CALCULATOR - Open default calculator app
CALENDAR - Open default calendar
CALL - Open default call app
CAMERA - Open camera
CONTACTS - Open default contacts app
EXPLORER - Favorite internet browser
HOME - Homebutton
MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE - Play pause media
MESSAGE - Default messenger
MUSIC - starts your favorite music player
POWER - Power menu
QPANEL_ON_OFF - Notification area
SYSRQ - Take a screenshot
VOICE_ASSIST - Google Assistant
VOLUME_DOWN - Sets volume down
VOLUME_MUTE - Volume media (set default media volume in phone setting)
VOLUME_UP - Sets volume up
How to do it?
1. Navigate to /system/usr/keylayout/
2. Edit gpio_keys.kl - Key 703 parameter to any of those functions you like. Stock file should look like this in Lineage 18.0:
key 114 VOLUME_DOWN

key 116 POWER
key 172 HOME
key 703 APP_SWITCH
3. Reboot.
DISCLAIMER: You might have to use your custom recovery text editor to edit gpio_keys.kl if your preferred file manager/text editor can't edit it even with root privilege.

Hello Lineage users. I am using the Alexis rom by AlexisXDA for maybe 2 years or so and i was actually pleased with it. But since lineageOS is out for some time and Alexis rom seem to not get updated anymore i am concidering to try it. Last time i used lineage was on my Galaxy s4 and i had a great experience. So would you recommend this rom? Is it good enaugh to daily drive? How is the performance? What does not work? ect...

It works great for me. Comparable with performance of Pixel 4a. People in this thread say the bluetooth audio is bad/not working, but I don't use it. The rest seems to work really well (banking apps, zgcamera with custom configs). I use it with customized NikGapps.

@Mak.N.Beans i want to use my bixby button for some custom actions(like tasker or homeassistant). Before i installed lineage os i was using app bxActions Pro and there i was able to map my bixby button to anything. Unfortunately, now my bxAction Pro app doesn't recognize bixby button AT ALL. How can i make it visible to bxAction app or can i manage this button in easier way instead through recovery mode?

I've managed to upgrade my s8 to Lineage OS 19 in last month, i found a lot of bugs, but today i upgraded my phone to the newest version and most of them were fixed.
If i find any new bugs, i'll report them here. For example in previous version i had to wait few seconds until camera loaded, now it's faster.
I have one question - is it possible to add in recent apps icon to clear them all? Sometimes i have a lot of apps opened and i have to scroll to right few seconds until i'll be able to click "Clear all"
Also, is it possible to make locked screen(where we have clock) more usable?

Yo, thank you for the great release, using it on my S8 and it literally revived it.
Here are a few bugs that I found:
- HDR videos don't play (try it on Youtube for example)
- Can't connect more than one Bluetooth device
- Some display issues on apps (ex. Netflix, spotify home screens, as mentioned by someone on Reddit)

You have to:
- Install Magisk
- In Magisk install Riru module
- Install LSPosed
- Install Xposed Edge or Xposed Edge Pro
- Enable Xposed Edge in LSPosed app
- Reset your phone
- Open Xposed Edge and remap Recent apps key.
I don't know why this button is called Recent apps, but for 100% it's working

- Updated libexynosdisplay from BSP to comply with some android 12 changes
- Removed unused build.prop entries
- Fixed few selinux denials related to hwc props
- Improved UI performance and stability
- Cleaned up source
- Removed more unneeded patches for device support
- Synced with LineageOS source
Im aware of Seedvault issue curently present and im working on a fix for it.
I wanted to release something as a gift from me to everyone using this rom and supporting this project throughout the years. Keeping older phones alive and up to date is really fun hobby and I don't think I would've kept doing it if it wasnt for all of the support from the comunity.
Once again big thanks to everyone who helped cover the build serve cost and coffee.

- Adapted DT2W support (double tap to wake)
- Muted phone services gps notif (Thanks google really appreciate you breaking random things for everyone)
- Improved battery life and performance
- Fixed issue where some devices would not wake up touch after being in sleep mode
- Cleaned up all of leftover patches that were used by legacy power hal
- Synced with LineageOS source

Keep in mind there is https://github.com/8890q/patches repo with some changes needed for 8895 support
I decided to release source as builds have reached stability, so why not give something to comunity to play with

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)
Since most gapps didnt update for 12L yet (SDK bumped from 31 to 32) i edited falmegapps and uploaded them here use them if you cant find gapps that work on 12L https://mega.nz/folder/FFoS1IIK#XunGRNTViQY7-OZ8oQr0sg
Make sure gapps you decide to use support android 12L/12.1/Are targetting api level 32
Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12 support
