Sorry for the late reply. Yes you can. But you have to re install it after each lineage os update.

I havent had that problem yet. Mine works surprisingly well. I am using Stable Build R4 of RAD kernel. Which one are you using?
The video you posted works fine for me at 1080p60, I dont know about HDR but I cranked up the brightness to full and i still get black background. But wouldn't black background be a result of OLED?

It is too basic for me.
I mainly got problems with banding with all the camera apps I've tried.
Now I am on CGcamera_5.1.018. The af lock doesn't work if you rotate phone you have to change exposure every time basically.
Yeah i mean the one that came with the rom. I don't really use the camera that often and when i do the app works fine for me.
Personally i haven't had any banding issues.

Enable "stats for nerds" in options, and force 1080p60fps in the three dot menu when playing video. See if you got no dropped frames on that resolution.

Hello. I am interested in trying out this rom, cause I got a S8 just recently and I really like this device and Lineage OS.
I just have one question, regarding this rom.
Does it support native call recording? My old OnePlus X with Lineage rom that was made by YumeMichi had this and I have gotten used to this feature, multiple times it has helped against telemarketers that promise and dont deliver and for clearing disputes with other call support people.

Just reporting back that device (S8) is working very well with this A12 rom. Thanks @Ivan_Meler and get well soon!
May I ask why is such a feature disabled in this rom. I saw this reddit post (link below) where it is described that the call record button appears only in countries where it is legal to use such feature. So I do not see a reason why leave this feature out.
i don't need this "feature" but i bet there's a app that can do it. all i can say this rom is the best ever. fast, responsive, good battery and no useless features.

17Here we go new build is out and so is source for the rom
- Adapted DT2W support (double tap to wake)
- Muted phone services gps notif (Thanks google really appreciate you breaking random things for everyone)
- Improved battery life and performance
- Fixed issue where some devices would not wake up touch after being in sleep mode
- Cleaned up all of leftover patches that were used by legacy power hal
- Synced with LineageOS source

I decided to release source as builds have reached stability, so why not give something to comunity to play with

- Remaped bixby to menu so long hold, short hold and wake actions work

Keep in mind that some LineageOS features have not been completed yet this is not a device bug and please do not report those
in this rom thread, also do not post bug reports for known issues or bug reports without proper

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)
Since most gapps didnt update for 12L yet (SDK bumped from 31 to 32) i edited falmegapps and uploaded them here use them if you cant find gapps that work on 12L https://mega.nz/folder/FFoS1IIK#XunGRNTViQY7-OZ8oQr0sg
Make sure gapps you decide to use support android 12L/12.1/Are targetting api level 32
Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12 support

There are a lot more changes that went into this build as i did complete rebase of most of the source.
I plan to release full source in near future so people can compile other roms if they feel like it
