LineageOS 19.1 (Android 12L) [Signature Spoofing][OTA updates] for S8/S8+/Note8

Even with Magisk, the module "MagiskHide Props Config" and the S8 fingerprint from the list, my banking TAN generator app isn't working. So far the only missing peace. Sadly an important one.
Do you have any hints on how to solve this?

EDIT: Zygist for the win. TAN app is working.

Seedvault doesn't work for me on this rom (lineage-19.1-20221004-UNOFFICIAL-dreamlte), backup says "backup not enabled", and restore says "no valid backups found".

I was hoping to use this phone to test my backup's restoring from another lineage 19.1 phone.

I'm using this ROM on my Note8 for many months as daily driver and anything to complain about it. Except the fact that when I'm on mobile network (LTE/4G/3G...) I'm receiving any notifications.
The ROM is really stable and less laggy than stock one.
Some times it crash (once a month not more), it reboot and here we go again !
This is a custom unofficial ROM, it is not perfect but clearly better than Samsung's one and the most important, it's up to date !

I installed it to try, and the app launch correctly without any bug or lag... And don't crash when using.
Probably depending on the gapps you installed and also the phone ?

I'm on a Note8 (don't remember wich gapps I've installed, too far to remember)

It's an S8 with NikGApps Core. The app starts at first, but closes right before the location permission prompt. After the approval it didn't start anymore.

Hi @vaxu can you post a short tutorial which steps you exactly made, to make this app run.
I'm struggling with the tan app too.

I am running the newer version (Lineageos 20, Android 13) and there everything works pretty stable:

Because when you even think about flashing another OS on your phone, why not go with the latest Android

- Merged November 2022. Security update
- Switched to hidl usb hal from hw/samsung
- Synced with LineageOS source

Some of you might have noticed that there were not any updates after security update, I had a lot going on in personal life and havent had time for android unfortunately hopefully that changes soon so i can finish up few more things that need to be sorted on n8/s8.
On another note updated 18.1 builds will likely be out tomorrow
Huge thanks for everyone who supported this project so far as their donations help cover the build server cost.
Enjoy new builds and stay safe.

1. Download Magisk APK from https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases
2. Rename the file from *.apk to *.zip
3. Install via TWRP
4. Run Magisk App
5. Go to settings
6. Look for Zygist and enable it
7. Edit the blacklist and enable your app in there

How is your experience so far? I understand having to enjoy the latest android. But what about every day use? functions? did you have to deal with any issues you normally wouldnt? My biggest concern would be whether the phone heats up much or not and how good is the battery life on this ROM. Currenly i'm testing out hades Q v3 and while the ROM is amazing, I've noticed my phone is heating up a lot and battery life has reduced by a mile which is a let down.

I have installed and successfully used LineageOS19.1 : 19-20220707-UNOFFICAL-dreamlte. The system suggests me to downlaod and install more recent versions of LineageOS19.1. What is you advice ? Does is worth it ? Any risk to lose data/app ?
