I installed it but when i chose 4k video it crashed. Any config that i need to customize?
And i constantly get "Intent Filter Verification Service stopped" error. How do i fix it?
config hari_exy8895. it's not the greatest camera but it works to take occasional pictures. i'd be interested myself in a camera app that works as fast as the stock on pie9. the gcam has many options but for instance when i take picture under led light i get the bands and can't make them disappear even if i increase exposure.
i did a test and it works recording for me. the configs have to be in forlder gcam/configs7 and u can switch between them.

I have been using it since a month now, and it's been great since day one, smooth af, never expected a modern ROM would work so good on an older phone, looks like it was the software holding it back, night and day difference from Pie 9 to 12, keep it up, have a good day 
I don't understand way, but i have issues with Bluetooth headphones. When i'm trying to talk with someone on the phone through Bluetooth headphones i can't hear caller and he can't hear me. It's sound like our voices were scrambled.
Another issue is that when i'm trying to open my camera, i have to wait few seconds until camera load. No matter which app i'm using. Here you have video how it looks on my phone: i have to wait 2-4 seconds until camera load and then i have to wait for image to take a photo. Maybe i'm using wrong cam app, i downloaded GCam

Try RAD kernel. I had the same camera problem, but now using RAD kernel the delay is almost gone.
Yes, you can. Flash as a normal zip in twrp. I tried RAD kernel it does load faster the camera, but then the app freezes after a few sec and then works... so I guess the wait time is similar...
i didn't have that kind of problems on original system from samsung.. Is there any way to fix this?
I havent used 17.1 but im using this since yesterday. Seems pretty stable to me. No freezes or crashes since install. My only problem is the bad camera of LOS. Cant get a Gcam to work propperly.

Do note that Samsung's recorder OBEYS Direct Volume Control
That is, if an app uses DVC then the audio samples is sent at the volume applied by the music stream mixer
for example
music steam 50%
with DVC on, samples are sent at stream volume (50%)
with DVC off, samples are sent at 100% volume
When played back
the DVC samples are 50% of current music stream volume
the non-DVC samples are 100% of the current music stream
DVC result 50% of 50% is 25% volume output
non-DVC result 100% of 50% is 50% volume output
In comparison to Stock Android, i suspect this DVC-like behavior is applied regardless of wether DVC is actually active or not, that is, samples are always sent at stream volume
I will need to test with AOSP

Install TWRP latest, Format, Install LOS19, Install Gapps, Reboot into new system

4Here we go, March security update is here.
LineageOS 21 builds wont get update this time around as new qpr is still being merged and fixed up
There were a lot of changes from google in their quarterly platform update soboth LineageOS codebase
and some device changes are needed for it to be on par with previous builds.
There will be april builds for it soon so it made no sense to push half baked update today.
As always huge thanks to everyone who donated to help cover the build server cost.

Keep in mind that some LineageOS features have not been completed yet this is not a device bug and please do not report those
in this rom thread, also do not post bug reports for known issues or bug reports without proper

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)
Since most gapps didnt update for 12L yet (SDK bumped from 31 to 32) i edited falmegapps and uploaded them here use them if you cant find gapps that work on 12L https://mega.nz/folder/FFoS1IIK#XunGRNTViQY7-OZ8oQr0sg
Make sure gapps you decide to use support android 12L/12.1/Are targetting api level 32
Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12 support

Here is android 13 working with new kernel that has BPF backport which took me days to properly backport, but it will help us get better overall experience in both 12 and 13 and future android versions
I just have to resolve some wifi issues and after those are done builds will be uploaded

Nothing major in this one as i am still working behind the scenes on that huge update i talked about previously which involves rewrite of almost whole graphics and media stack (its almost finished but i still have to do a bit more testing just to make sure there is no regression)
(Im still waiting for a properly working s8/n8 listing to show up on ebay thats not overpriced so i can use it for testing as my s8 has messed up display and unfortunately import from UK turned out to be more expensive than s8 would be worth)
In other news android 13 should be released next month and since there were no major changes s8 and note8 should be running it soon after release with not too many issues and ill try to take a few days off from work to get it up and running on it once source is out

This project wouldnt be alive without them as i do this in my free time as a hobby.28I havent posted an actual progress update in quite some time so here is some behind the scenes.
- First of all selinux, that is actually being worked on and it should be supported in near future (Tho it needs some testing to make sure things dont break)
- Kernel upstream and full eBPF support, thats on its way too so we wont need any hacks to make bpf work anymore which is a nice bonus + we will be able to use some nice new features like gpu monitoring which requires eBPF
- HWC This is a big one, without revealing too much there is big progress on this behind the scenes and while it does require quite a bit of work once this is sorted we will have much better battery life and UI will be waaay smoother (2x increase at least), this and few other hals will be open sourced too once this is nearly finished so no more proprietary blobs for it
- Keystore will also be looked into a bit further to see if there are edge cases left where some secure apps break
- OMX again without going into too much details we will see some changes on that end and it will be open sourced
- Camera, well ill just let this one be a surprise for now since it will require most work
Some other small notes since s8 i use to develop this rom on has broken screen (i use scrcpy to mirror screen on pc) im actually still looking into getting 8895 device, Someone offered to send one from UK but since im in EU ill have to look into import tax and stuff caused by brexit which is not fun to deal with.
And finally HUGE thanks to everyone who supported this project and helped cover the build server cost, thius project really wouldnt be possible without them, They also covered the coffee cost and some stuff like recent keystore fixes really took a long time to debug which indeed required a lot of coffee at night haha.
