LineageOS 19.1 (Android 12L) [Signature Spoofing][OTA updates] for S8/S8+/Note8

Search This thread
I am very excited in this rom, currently i am in hades 1.0 and i have some question
1. How can we do ota update, just flash without wiping anything?
2. Does battery life increased than oneui 2.5?
3. Does it automatically contain root? I dont want root because rooting can cause battery draining and stuff. Also i need banking
4. Can we open the phone using fingerprint sensor like oneui?my power button dead.
5.i want s pen so does it support ?
6. Does fast change and wireless work?
7. Volte work?
Most importantly, does hospot work?if not i will say goodbye to this rom.
If you tested answer me ASAP

I installed this rom today. the rom is great and everything working till now. only one problem I noticed the device became hot when playing some games anyone has a solution for this?
another question do you suggest a kernel for this rom instead of the built-in one

I just installed this ROM and after the boot animation the phone restarted again and again.

This is what I did:

I. I Download these files:

1, Odin3 v3.14.4 (from Sammobile)
2, latest stock ROM from Sammobile
3, TWRP (twrp-3.6.0_9-1-greatlte.img.tar)
4, this ROM (lineage-19.0-20220119-UNOFFICIAL-greatlte.zip)
5, NikGapps (NikGapps-full-arm64-12-20220127-signed.zip)
6, adb (platform-tools_r32.0.0-windows.zip)
7, Samsung USB driver (1.7.48.0)

II. Installation steps

1, updated the stock ROM to the latest with Odin3.
2, install TWRP with Odin3 as "AP".
3, wipe / format data, etc....
4, Install the ROM with "adb sideload lineage-19.0-20220119-UNOFFICIAL-greatlte.zip"
5, Reboot and I saw the boot animation and the phone restarted again and again

I tired the full install process again and loaded with adb the gapps afert the ROM and before the reboot, but the result was the same.

Any idea?

I found the problem, the data partition was corrupt. With TWRP I changed the partition type to ext2, changed back to ext4 and repaired the file system. After this repair the ROM installed without any problem :)

Nice, Samsung wearable for galaxy buds pro doesn't work, can you manage to do something in build for getting the app installed and working for the buds for all note users?
There are modified builds of those apps around the web, alternatively you could spoof your device as non samsung one with magisk props module and it will just work

    c) data/tombstones
    d) dmesg

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)

Since most gapps didnt update for 12L yet (SDK bumped from 31 to 32) i edited falmegapps and uploaded them here use them if you cant find gapps that work on 12L https://mega.nz/folder/FFoS1IIK#XunGRNTViQY7-OZ8oQr0sg
Make sure gapps you decide to use support android 12L/12.1/Are targetting api level 32

Make sure you are using latest official TWRP before installing rom older versions do not have proper android 12 support
